Very disappointed at this branch of the Ivy. Always a joy at Cobham/Wimbledon. Booked for bday , no surprise desert. Beef sent back as Rare not medium, wonky table , no cloth , waitress fixed table with cork ! Cold food , loud music

The food and drinks were excellent, wonderful choice. The service was outstanding and the decor and ambience were fantastic. We were made to feel so welcome and no request was too much. Had a fabulous birthday celebration.

I really enjoyed the service, food and ambient. The Ivy is one of my favourites places to go and it’s my husband birthday, they did surprise him with a birthday dessert! Really happy.

Visited The Ivy on Saturday night (just passed) - for a special date night, to celebrate my partner's new job. I'm local, but just haven't ever gotten around to visiting! I truly cannot fault anything and we had a wonderful time, with delicious food, a fabulous atmosphere and oppulent decor! Including the WC facilities!! The service was fantastic, efficient, polite & friendly but not obtrustive, just right! It was very, very busy but we didn't have any issue with slow service (food or drink). The music playing was just on the right side of audible - loud enough to invoke a sense of fun and 'party time' but very much still able to have intimate conversation with my partner. We had the squid and chicken skewers to start, both delicious and wonderfully presented, followed by steak (partner) and shepherds pie (me) for mains. The steak was cooked to perfection according to my partner. The pie was delicious and a great portion size, no extras needed. I finished with the melting chocolate bombe and oh my goodness, what a finale! I would certainly get again, but insist on two spoons as it was a generous size and very rich (not a negative by any standards... just... had to let my belly bloat out after two previous courses & drink!) 10/10 overall and will definitely be one to visit again, for a special occasion; everything feels that little bit elevated in comparison to other establishments and it was definitely a treat!

Good ‘fresh’ feeling to the restaurant . Bright well designed and inviting. Good menu , a little pricey in places. Food - good choice, well presented and served, quality good not outstanding though.

Food was delivered quickly and our waiter was attentive and charming. Everything we were given was delicious and beautifully presented. Just rather surprised by the high level of the final bill

Drinks came after food which was disappointing. We had ‘Afternoon tea’ and had to also wait for the tea to arrive after all the food had been finished. So food was good Bar service was disappointing and waitress service was also not as good as in the past, especially when it wasn’t particularly busy at 3.30.
