    The duck salad starter was delicious. My husband loved his bang bang chicken skewers and my children loved their tempura prawns. My son is a burger or steak man but has the shepherd's pie every time!

    Gorgeous restaurant. Rib eye steak was incredible, best steak ever apparently! Fish and chips delicious, cottage pie and chicken Milanese all superb! The quality of the food is fantastic. The Ivy never disappoints no matter which one we go to. Service is always of a high standard too. Loved it

    Visited for our daughter’s 12th birthday as a treat and it was the perfect way to start the day. The staff were lovely and friendly and made our daughter’s first Ivy experience very memorable, the surprise birthday cake was the icing on top! The food was lovely, the decor was stunning. We’ll certainly be back again! Diolch - thanks!

    It’s our third visit to The Ivy in Cardiff. On all the occasions we have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Definitely looking forward to going again in the very near future

    Lovely meals which were beautifully presented. The waitress was pleasant and helpful by judging when we were ready to order and then not rushing us to order the next course. We were given a corner seat which was great as it meant that we weren’t too close to the next table.

    Been to the restaurant many times before . Service was great and food lovely. My only issue was the restaurant was very cold We were sat on the ground floor at the rear next to the air con vent which was blowing cold air . Myself and wife were cold and noticed other diners with jackets whilst eating We were glad to get outside to warm up, not a pleasant dining experience due to this . Shame as the food and service was great .

    I have been to the Ivy Cardiff lots of times and usually have a really good time , with excellent service and food. This visit was a bit disappointing, my toast arrived without the butter or jam and it was 15 minutes before I could get someone’s attention by which time the toast and coffee were cold , I also ordered the mini pastries but I only got two pastries and I was told the others were still in the oven it was another 15 minutes and me asking someone about them before they turned up , I was asked if it was a special occasion and it was we had just been to our sons graduation so the lady wrote that down so I thought they might give him a little cake they way they do when it’s your birthday but they didn’t. I wouldn’t have chosen to tip on this occasion but was already charged £8.50 service charge on my bill so had no choice.
