It was my wife's birthday so I asked for a nice table, well we got the best! And then our wonderful waitress Muslima complimented my wife on how lovely she looked, and how lucky I was! And the excellent, tasty, stylish, entertaining birthday supper went from there! We will be back when we return to Cambridge.

Incredibly busy and chaotic on arrival. The music in the restaurant was incredibly loud. It was hard to hold a conversation around the table, particularly given the noise from other diners whose tables were very close. There’s a general air of canteen about both the food and the environment where we were sat (close to the door, so in somewhat of a thoroughfare). Our food was tepid and bland in flavour. The quality was mediocre. Tables are far too close together. The quality of food and environment does not justify the price tag. Overall, an underwhelming experience, not one I am likely to repeat I’m afraid.

Food and overall experience good, in terms of service didn’t enjoy the leaning in and over us throughout our meal. Also the staff not working together as one colleague would check in and take an order and another colleague would come and ask/check the same thing a few minutes later.

After complaining about cold starters and asking to ensure food was hot the service was good. This is the 4 or 5th time of visiting and experienced cold food. Yesterday my husband and I had French onion soup, both returned and really very cool. At a similar time the table to the left of us returned blackened cod as it was cold. Another table nearby returned a burger. We goto the Ivy quite a lot (various locations) and this store does seem to suffer serving cold food. Our French onion soup was so cold the cheese was not soft within but just a block and the fat stuck to your lips. Otherwise staff were nice though there seemed confusion between them all as to who was doing ordering and check backs as various came to the table various times. Again happy overall but you must sort out this serving of cool food. Nobody can be probing before serving.

Came here for a lovely breakfast date with my husband, food was great quality but smaller portion size compared to our visit at The Ivy in bath. We also got sat next to a really loud business meeting -so loud that I could of told you their entire conversation! It appeared they only had the smallest section of the restaurant open. There was a lovely blonde waitress who chatted to us and complimented me. Shame the loud chaps ruined the entire experience for us.
