    Food and service were excellent, but it was very noisy - it was full - and quite hot.

    Very noisy inside, we could not hear each other around the table. Not sure of others on the table but my food though very nice has been scored down and it was very cool. I had scolops which were hardly warm and my blackened cod was also very cool. When we paid £280 for 4 of us it’s not really acceptable.

    We went for the Lobster linguine followed by the Chocolate Bomb. Both courses were excellent, highly recommend. The cocktails beforehand were very good as well. We ate early on a Wednesday evening but it was quite busy. All the staff were very attentive

    This was sadly a shocking experience. We had been given a voucher for our wedding anniversary for afternoon tea. A lot of money had been spent! Our voucher went missing to start. The manager & waitress were arguing within sight of us. It was an unwanted saga with little apology from the manager although the waitress did try to cover for him. To top it off when my tea arrived it had been made with cold water!! Cakes were nice but the sandwiches were tasteless & soggy. Not somewhere we will be rushing to return to In a hurry! The service charge was taken off the bill, we were however still expected to pay for the two non alcoholic cocktails we had added on extra. It would have been a nice goodwill gesture to have given those complimentary after spoiling our afternoon tea. :(

    Beautiful decor. Service was first class. Monkfish curry was delicious but no naan bread served with it sadly. I remember getting it years ago. Wish they would bring it back.

    Always had a great experience but yesterday we were given a too small table for 8 people and the vegetables were too hard and not cooked properly

    Really lovely experience. Fantastic service, food is lovely and just overall a brilliant experience. We went for a birthday treat for my husband and they really look after you.
