Food is lovely! We had a brilliant waiter… we ordered a steak medium rare and it unfortunately came out more medium well done than rare… our waiter took it away instantly and gave us a new steak. It was no bother as the team dealt with it so quickly :) Big fan of the Ivy for a guaranteed nice dinner out!

Very warm welcome and Orlando made service feel special and smooth. Food was excellent. A great evening had by all.

It was some time i went to the Ivy (mostly Kings Road) in the past. But today’s experience in Wimbledon in terms of food is difficult to comprehend. Absolutely terrible food. Ordered fresh orange juice which was anything but fresh. Poached eggs where muffin looked like was brought in from tesco a few minutes ago. Fries tasted 3 days old. Never again. Should be ashamed of themselves charging what they are for this terrible quality of food

Great evening made better from the service given by Alexandra. A true first class, front of house waitress. Knew the wines, described the food, orchestrated the team around us. |Am enjoyable evening if a little pricy!

I’m a regular at the ivy and have been to the Wimbledon branch a multiple of times. This evening started off well, it was very quiet in the restaurant. Suddenly it got very busy and staff seemed very stressed. They were still polite and smiling but seeing their stress made me anxious to ask for service (our tea took over half an hour to arrive and we had to ask for it twice, then ask for the bill). I used to work in hospitality for many years so I understand the stress, which probably made me even more anxious to ask for what we needed. More staff on shift would’ve definitely made the experience more enjoyable for us! In the chaos of it all they accidentally dismissed my sister’s birthday, but later rectified and brought her an extra dessert with a candle (which was very much appreciated). Thank you to the staff for their hard work and positive attitudes!

We really enjoy this branch, but the experience was ike the curate’s egg this time: - greeted and told we’d booked for fewer than we had (fortunately I had the confirmation email) - had to move tables, but no fuss when we asked to do so - initial service slow and rather brusque - then our main host took over and service was charming and good - two sirloin steaks asked for on the “rare side of medium rare” were presented on the better side of medium. Really not good enough at all from the Kitchen, but there is not much you can do if you all want to eat together and keep the focus on a fun family Sunday evening - kitchen also had to be chased for one side + truffle/parm chips were decidedly cool - had to ask for wine to be topped up So overall, a rather disappointing experience in truth

Birthday meal with friends pre theatre in Wimbledon. Staff were attentive and gave good advice on menu. We ran tight for time but had a great meal although we had to skip desert. Will visit again soon.

The restaurant is understaffed with not enough wait staff to serve the tables. We had significant delays in drink and food orders being taken.

There was not enough staff working on the night so the service was slow as it was very busy, this is the second time we observe this recently
