    Extremely poor service, multiple items unavailable and what was delivered was cold. Very poor experience overall

    Food was alight, decor was nice, but service was pretty bad. Seems disorganized & unprepared for busy Wimbledon tennis period. Examples - - Waited 25min to be seated, despite having confirmed reservations for a set time. - Drinks ordered weren't the same as menu described & had to be changed - Had to wait ages for service in general for order taking, bill paying etc - Bill was incorrect & had things on which we didn't order, so had to be corrected.

    The quality of food is very good and the staff are very pleasant. However, communication between the kitchen and staff had room for improvement. Ordered 2 coffees - received only one Ordered a breakfast with 1 egg scrambled - received 2 poached Ordered another breakfast without eggs or black pudding and was offered an extra rash of bacon as a substitution- Arrived as ordered, however was charged £4.50 as extra portion.

    It was lovely dinner and Tommy the one who served us he was really nice. We enjoyed the very much !

    My husband i visited the Ivy@wimbledon . Generally it was an enjoyable visit. However, when our mains arrived not only were they not quite as warm as they should have been but 2 of my husband's sides were forgotten. He then had to wait for them to arrive which meant him having to start eating before his full course arrived. There were a few other dinners who were a little on the loud side which was a bit annoying. Not sure i would visit again.

    Staff were very nice. Food arrived quickly. My fish was soggy and not crispy . Crème brûlée was runny and the sugar on top was not crunchy. We asked for the trifle and the strawberries had food taste as if it was cut or handled where onions were processed. Trifle presentation was perfect but not the taste. I usually go to the Ivy for the crème brûlée but this time disappointed. Linguine truffle is not on the menu anymore.

    Restaurant decor etc excellent, food also good. However noise level was deafening! Even our waitress had to wince whilst trying to take our order. Whilst the Ivy are unable to tell the more rowdy tables to shut up, maybe some noise absorbing baffles discreetly fitted to the ceiling? I'm no expert so don't know what's possible, but the noise level will be putting off "normal" customers.

    Lovely meal. Love the monk fish curry although it does seem to have hind up in price. The outside if the Ivy looks oks beautiful ready for Wimbledon Championships.
