Nice creative menu. The food was good but not amazing. Given the price one would expect more. The atmosphere was lovely. The service was absolutely terrible. The waitress clearly does not love her job nor understand anything about British table service. She was rude and impatient and even clicked her fingers at me. One doesn’t expect something like this in an establishment like the Ivy. Having taken interest overseas visitors there we were left feeling disappointed with our overall experience.

A very nice dining experience. The food was excellent, the service good and there was a great buzz and a very nice ambience. One point for improvement - we booked using a link offering £20 but we had to get this applied when the bill came as it wasn’t automatically taken off.

I had booked a table for 2 people at the Ivy Wimbledon on Saturday 6th July at 9-15. Obviously with the tennis championships on Wimbledon is very busy and we felt our breakfast was very rushed. I asked for the menu to order a drink and then was told we couldn’t have a drink we had to vacate our table as they were busy. We had only been there for half an hour and said this to the waitress who said she would speak to the manager. We were then told that we had been given the wrong table they would “make it work “ and we would be allowed to have a drink. The experience was very disappointing and not what I would expect from the Ivy.

We booked a table for breakfast at 9.00am , at 9.40am we were asked if we would move to the bar area as they had a booking that needed our table. We felt a little rushed from the beginning, probably down to poor table management, no real apologies offered. The Ivy is a chain so there are good and not so good locations, unfortunately Wimbledon isn’t so good.
