The Ivy in Tunbridge Wells was very good, service was excellent, good buzzy atmosphere but not too loud so able to converse comfortably. The food was very good - monkfish curry excellent, sirloin steak slightly over cooked for a medium steak. Would be good if French fries could be added to the menu. Delicious desserts and a very special treat added for the birthday guests who were with us.

I wish there was an equal amount of sweet to savoury for the afternoon tea. There was a lot of sweet. Other than that, it was great.

My partners mum and her friend said that the fish and chips very good and they said that the chips were nice and the mushy peas were hot and they want to send a big thanks to the side chef

We had a wonderful lunch with our friends who were visiting The Ivy for the first time. The service was exceptional. The food was delicious and we felt very welcomed. We were celebrating three 70th birthdays and the birthday treat we received was a lovely surprise. Thank you for making our celebration special.

The shepherd’s pie was lacking seasoning: it was rather bland. I did not appreciate being addressed as “guys” by the waiter. More training on how to address diners is needed. Otherwise an agreeable but not outstanding way to have a birthday lunch.

Amazing venue and staff were so attentive but not too much. Went to celebrate a birthday and everybody really enjoy the whole experience. Would highly recommend to anyone for brunch or dinner.

Could not fault our visit to the Ivy to celebrate an 80th birthday. We had been placed on a perfect table for the group and the food was delicious. However it was the service that really made the evening. Really friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely time at The Ivy experiencing their Afternoon Tea for mine & my friends Birthdays, although a little disappointed that they didnt give her a Happy Birthday desert treat as promised.
