Love our ‘local’ Ivy. Such a treat to be able to escape to some genteel luxury and delicious food only half an hour from home. We were celebrating a birthday and had booked the rewards birthday dessert via the app. Wow! Wow! Wow! A splendid surprise and even more delightful it was complementary as a rewards member. Great service, attentive not intrusive and my wheelchair was taken and stored away and a chair with arms provided so I could be seated comfortably at the table. Excellent cocktails and the 1917 menu is quite splendid. We’ll be back

All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food of course was excellent. We had a lovely time.

Initial welcome good. Food outstanding. Service was not at its usual attentive and friendly experience. There appeared to be plenty of staff around and the restaurant had several other diners but not full. Service was impatient and rushed. Waiter did not know what an item in the menu was. The hot caramel sauce made it way onto the arm of a fellow diner before it hit the chocolate bomb dessert. There was a concession made on the bill by way of an apology. Overall, we enjoyed the venue and the food. Would recommend with a caveat.

We are sorry to hear that other than the food, the rest of your time with us was not up to the standard that we strive for. We do also apologise about the issue with the caramel sauce, we do hope that your friend was okay after the incident. Beautiful afternoon tea so delicious & presentation was wonderful Coffee also very good Not rushed at all & everyone very helpful and kind This was a gift for us bought by our son otherwise prices are quite high but food was delicious
