Lovely as always. Had a fabulous waitress can not remember her name. Wore black glasses. Only wish you would have more affordable bottles of white wine saved blanc £46 push the bill to well over £100 and for lunch it makes it a bit pricey.

We had a voucher for champagne afternoon tea. I had a gluten free one…sandwiches were nice but there were only 3, then 2 scones (which were the highlight, delicious), a piece of chocolate brownie, pot of yoghurt and small bowl of frozen fruit. The ivy need to up their game on gluten free desserts to make this in anywhere near comparable to the “normal” afternoon tea which my husband had. His cakes were reportedly delicious. As always with afternoon tea the balance of sweet to savoury is off in my opinion. Champagne was lovely. Service was excellent and the ambiance was lovely. Would go again but probably not for afternoon tea.

Had afternoon tea for 2 for £35 each, 2 small sandwiches each and then cakes. £27 for 2 drinks. Thought it would of been a nice treat for my friends 50th but was very disappointed

Is there a dress code? Seems to be on the website, but so many trainers and tshirts and people even wearing caps at the table. Takes away from the style of the place.

1st course prawns excellent. Rib eye steak on the bone was tough and full of sinews. Very poor quality and want back. Not charged. Dessert chocolate bomb is to sweet . Does not need hot caramel sauce thst melts the presentation. The place has a “tired” look about it. Very dissapointed. Bill was over £211.

Great service - for which I tipped 10-12% Good ambience considering that we ate at tea-time. I'm afraid that the main portions are too small and, when bulked up by (small) side servings; overall it's not value now. Music was fine initially, but became frenetic towards 7pm
