After attending the Ivy at Tower Bridge we were looking forward to our visit to Ivy @ Bath. Very disappointing. Ordered Fillet steak to be told just sold last one. ( this at 20.00 on Saturday night). My partner then ordered the fish & chips, as an alternative. Batter very greasy and crispy. Left most of it. To his credit waiter removed this from bill. Although there was nothing wrong with my meal of Shepherds pie, it was not anything special. I also left half of mine. This spoilt our evening and decided to ask for the bill and left. Afraid wasn’t in the same bracket as Tower Bridge.

Food fantastic service fantastic. Our only criticism was that it was a birthday treat for one of the party, and felt rather rushed. As if they needed the table despite being booked 5 months in advance.

I had booked in advance to celebrate my husband's birthday and when we had been checked in at the entrance we were to shown to our table in the bar. The bar staff immediately came to the table with the afternoon tea and drinks menu. I had selected champagne tea when booking but the bar staff had not been made aware of this fact. Consequently we had to wait more than 50 minutes before our tea was brought to the table after a gentle reminder. The staff were most apologetic and the cost of the champagne was deducted from the total bill. The overall experience, however, was not marred by this slight hiccup!

Excellent service, food superb and generally a very pleasant experience. This is not the first time I have been to the Ivy and the levels of service are always consistent regardless of how busy they are.

excellent, as always. stay beautifully liveried, courteous, and attentive. Decor is a fitting backdrop to a beautiful experience.

Overall our experience was good but we were disappointed by a number of items not being available. It was a Tuesday early evening and one of the specials had already run out. In addition, the bottle of wine we wanted was not available either.

Another delicious and well presented meal at Bath’s Ivy. Slightly sneaky to allow the ordering of dessert only to be presented with a gifted one after having made a start on the one paid for!
