Friendly greeting and seated promptly. A long delay between drinks and food arriving even though we were there for afternoon. Kitchen wanted to serve vegan food, even though I had only requested lactose free. Only after I insisted did I get smoked salmon and chicken. I had fewer (and smaller) item than my wife's 'normal menu, and I had several versions of fruit as my 'cakes'.

Amazing as ever! Particularly special as it was my niece's 18th birthday and her first time at an Ivy restaurant - she was blown away. Thank you!

Via pre booking Ivy Bath was aware it was 18th Birthday, and this was acknowledged on arrival. 3 other tables around us received a birthday desert plate. We did not receive this and daughter was disappointed as had seen others receive one. Did not wish to ask as was embarrassed to ask

The sandwiches were very dry. The cakes were OK but the lemon poppyseed lacked any real lemon flavour.

Really enjoyed it - lovely food well presented at a competitive price and waiters certainly looked well trained - but…. - and to be clear it’s a smallish but….. - we ordered the £15 breakfast and had smoothie, croissant and cooked breakfast - it all came very quickly and all at once along with our coffees - it felt a bit like a ‘wham bam’ experience and would have been all over in a flash if we hadn’t ordered multiple coffee rounds to extend the event - I know it may be efficient from a waiting perspective but from a customer perspective it needs to be a little gentler…. Perhaps coffees first and then food and maybe even offer this in stages - but lovely engaging team of staff and did enjoy it :)

Salmon as starter a must. Linguine with scallops. And salad with chicken. The best was the froment berries with chocolade sauce and ice cream.

Amazing Afternoon Tea, well presented, lovely happy staff. Beautiful surroundings. One clitch for the first 45mins a VERY loud hen party next to us so couldnt hear each other talking but once they left was a very enjoyable time.

Arrived and booking was confirmed with reception, afternoon tea was excellent BUT after leaving I later received a call from The Ivy manager who accused me of leaving and not paying, I replied by saying that I purchased vouchers 6 months ago but he asked for my bank details to take payment, I refused as I had already paid in full, I emailed the confirmation to him. He said he would look into it but I had to call back to see what was happening and he again asked for the voucher codes (although this was all in the email!) and after awhile of waiting he said that he could see I had paid, there was no apology at all!! As this was a special occasion for my friends 60th birthday she was sat next to me listening to the conversations which made me feel embarrassed and very upset. I have visited The Ivy in Bath on several occasions and this has never happened before but I will not be visiting again due to the treatment and disrespect received from the management!
