On the second floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, Manchester is Ivy Asia. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

Our menu takes you on a journey through Asia where you can enjoy sushi & sashimi, small dishes such as prawn tempura, and large dishes including the likes of slow-cooked pork belly and avocado crispy tofu. All our meals are the perfect match for our theatrical drinks and cocktails.

On the weekend, our vibrant destination comes alive with entertainment, music, and DJs, encouraging you to stay and play late into the night.

Situated on the second floor, The Geisha Room at Ivy Asia accommodates 18 guests on one long table or 20 guests across two rounds of 10. The private room features a striking pink onyx bar, sumptuous furnishings, colourful Asian-inspired fabrics and a gold leaf ceiling, all set against breath-taking artwork in floor to ceiling mirrors. As with Ivy Asia restaurant and bar, The Geisha Room offers Asian-inspired cocktails alongside dishes such as Wagyu beef with truffle sauce, salmon fillet teriyaki, and avocado, crispy tofu, lime and ginger dressing.

Amazing experience! The service was incredible and food was delicious, the table next to us was a little loud and the waiter brought over 2 cocktails on the house as an apology. Could not fault them in any way!

We ordered a few plates each - the croquettes were amazing. Katie was very attentive and made the experience very enjoyable!

On route to the Ivy Asia we were running late I tried to call no response on arrival everything fine, food service very helfull, however I was disappointed we could take our leftover food home with us. As we had paid for the food it was ours. I personally always over order with this in mind. Surely people will spend less with this rule

Our first visit to Ivy Asia, Spinningfields, but have previously enjoyed visits to Ivy Asia Leeds. As it is marketed as a separate restaurant to the Ivy, it was not clear at the entrance that this was communal for both restaurants until we got close up to the menu on the wall. Better signage is required. All tables on the 2nd floor are in good spots but a little close together. Our waiter was very helpful with suggestions and time to read the menu, and we were not rushed. Our starters came promptly and were good sized portions. One of our party of three received their main course a good 15 minutes ahead of the rest of the table. All side dishes were at least 5 minutes after the mains were served and after we had chased them. There was no reason given for this, and did somewhat spoil our enjoyment of the meal. The manager apologised and there was an agreed adjustment of the bill. Overall a pleasant experience but not the usual service expected. Would visit again and try the rooftop bar next time.

After a day of shopping in Manchester with my daughter, I decided to book the Ivy Asia for an “early tea” treat (pre-show set menu £30 a head) before heading home. My daughter is vegetarian and gluten-free - we were catered for perfectly. The food was utterly delicious and plentiful. The ambiance was classy with beautiful decor and upmarket furnishings; and we enjoyed a lively atmosphere. The service, however, was truly outstanding! Michele looked after us so well - he was attentive, helpful and very personable and delivered our food efficiently and with panache. He really made our evening special. Thank Michele for looking after us so well. We will definitely be back. X

Food was extremely good as per. Staff were extremely accommodating with us having a baby. They waitress who served us was extremely friendly and easy to speak to. Overall our favourite restaurant. Will be back again!
