The food was good though the whole occasion spoilt by an unnecessarily aggressive telephone conversation just beforehand. I had booked for 6pm but as traffic was bad, I made a courtesy call to the restaurant to say that I might be nearer 6.30 than 6.00. I was told that they had no tables at 6.30 and that unless I was there by 6.15!they couldn’t guarantee a table. I said that I would be there but possibly slightly late and had taken the trouble to inform them. The lady on the phone made it quite clear that after 6.15 my booking would be redundant. By rushing and leaving my partner to park the car I managed to get there for 6.15. I was actually kept waiting about four minutes until I was taken to my table. There were plenty tables free. What was the point of this? If someone doesn’t turn up after 15 minutes that is fine. But I rang to confirm I was coming. The contempt with which I was treated left a bad taste in the mouth which the reliable Ivy food struggled to overcome.

Giuseppe was outstanding. Looked after us all really well and fully made our evening special! Food was amazing, drinks were great but the service was top notch

The Ivy Asia is an experience rather than a meal out. From the moment you walk through the door you are welcomed into the Ivy Asia experience! The cocktail at the bar was fab and the bar staff made us welcome while we waited for our table, and the staff knew it was our anniversary! The food... well what is there to say other than it far exceeded expectations and was out of this world. You cannot purchase this food anyone else locally, it is amazing and gave us the flavour of Asia. The Ivy Asia have great attention to detail. The amount of service you receive is perfect, not too much but attentive and the food is to die for! The touches with the food - the Asia Ivy note through the plates, the paper, just everything just adds to the WOW factor. If you love Asia and love food and love to be spoiled Ivy Asia is not to be missed!

Our first visit to Ivy Asia and we weren't disappointed. We had the 2 course set menu which was very good value and plenty to eat with good portion sizes. Staff were lovely, decor stunning and overall experience was 5*. Would definitely go back again.

Beautiful restaurant. Felt the food was typically Asian and not outstanding. Also didn’t like having chopsticks and a plate.

A celebration for two birthdays and two families -we had a fabulous night and treated our group of eight to the set meal - it was fabulous!! Loved the DJ and the violinist was fantastic and all added to the experience. Will definitely recommend to friends

Was not a relaxing atmosphere, music too loud so had to shout to hear each other. Waiter was so hectic he knocked a drink over which flooded the whole table. Toilets were flooded & taps were making a noise (I reported this to a member of staff). Lots of hidden costs - not worth the money compared to other restaurants in the area
