Amazing place and decor. The ambiance was slightly spoiled when at only 9.30 the staff started spraying and cleaning the floor next to us which made us feel like it was time to go!

The starters were ok, really small portions, tiny prawns. Cold starters. The mains were distinctly average, far too few tiny prawns. Cold mains. I felt the food could have been cooked better by a child. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. Receptionist was also welcoming. My parents enjoyed it. But for me. I wouldn’t come here again, you suggest far more than you offer. Thanks.

Great atmosphere and food on a Saturday night. Lucy our server was very attentive and knowledgable as well as extremely friendly and professional. The Ivy experience set menu is good value and exceptional quality.

Lovely dinner for our daughter’s 21st Birthday. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Food as always was delicious and well on time. Lovely view of Guildford castle as well! Highly recommend.

The best service I've every experienced at a restaurant ever, very quick and managed to eat three courses in the space of an hour. Yet, the experience didn't feel rushed. I spent the evening dining with friends and we booked our table two months in advance and it definitely lived up to our expectations. My only criticism is the lack of vegan "big plates" as this would stop me from revisiting with my husband on a date night. The food that I ate was delicious, but the two vegan mains are items I cook at home so I would ideally choose something different. With that being said, I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends. It was a very special experience.

Worst experience in this place. Never going back. Went for my husband’s birthday dinner. My husband was so unhappy. The tables were so close to each other. You cannot talk properly with your partner. Literally you can hear all the conversations from next table.. Paid high amount for the drinks, drinks were so horrible. I only drink 2 sips.. 🤢

The decor is really lovely and the floor is amazing. We opted for the experience menu and the food was amazing. The only part of the menu that was disappointing was the dessert. Soft serve ice cream and donuts with popping candy and chocolate sauce is the kind of dessert you can get on a kids menu at an average high street restaurant for £5. It wasn't very special and definitely did not align with the rest of the food. A very odd choice for the menu. The staff were very attentive and pleasant although it was nearly impossible to hear anything they were saying to us as the music was so loud. I understand loud music and a live dj in a bar. But it was a bit much for a high caliber restaurant and would have been more enjoyable if the music was turned down slightly. There were only 2 female toilets also, which meant a long wait.

Our experience was spoilt by a very strange waitress. She was sulky and unfriendly and then downright rude several times during our meal. She had a face like thunder and didn't smile once. We had booked the tasting menu, so when food was accidentally brought to our table soon after we arrived, we were unsure if it was ours or not. The waitress said irritably - "How can it be yours, you haven't even ordered yet!". Later on, I had half a tempura prawn in my hand which was served with a pot of dipping sauce. The waitress saw but went to clear the plate. I asked if I could keep the sauce and she huffed, plonked it on the table and rolled her eyes. I was shocked! She obviously did not want to be there but the rudeness was something else. The food was good and unusual but overpriced. There was a live DJ for Friday night - the music was good and we were able to talk but it was a loud dining experience. Decor impressive and an interesting experience but overall the feel was rather pretentious and not our cup of tea. Rude service unforgivable for the price we paid - we were smiley and polite, saying thank you each and every time a plate was served or taken away. I've never had an experience like that before and we did nothing to deserve it.

We had a fabulous time with you last night for my daughter’s 13th birthday! Food was amazing! Staff were exceptional throughout too and made my daughters day by presenting a gift at the end! Can’t wait to return
