    Had the afternoon tea here, in terms of taste and variety it wasn’t great. The desserts were 10/10 though, savoury - 3/10. Would like to come back to try their main menu

    Excellent food, great decor, unacceptably shoddy service. We were constantly reminded that we only had the table for 2 hours from the second we walked in. The irony of this being that it took half an hour to get a cocktail, and when we did the server forgot our order of nibbles to go with them. Fortunately we ordered the set menu which included them. They got delivered along with all the starters, and from then on it was a battle to stop them bringing food long enough to digest any. When we asked for a pause between appetisers and sushi we were told 'I'm not rushing you, but it's literally my job to replace empty plates on the table with the full ones as soon as you are finished.' THE DEFINITION OF RUSHED?! I spotted a person moving around the room with an ipad, whose only job appeared to be marking off which tables were done eating that course so they could serve the next one. Indeed, we still had sushi on the serving platter when the waiter returned to say he needed to clear it because our main course was waiting to be served. We said it would have to wait; he responded he would need to send his manager over. (He didn't, until dessert when we were presented with donuts and the bill at the same time and told not to order teas or coffees because we wouldn't have time to drink them). The food (except the sushi which was mediocre) was excellent so it was a real shame we weren't given any time to enjoy it. My feedback? Don't offer a 4 course meal if you can't serve it properly. I dine at a lot of restaurants, I know what a 2 hour meal looks like, yet this is the first place I've managed to feel like it was a race to the finish line - and been explicitly reminded of this fact for the duration of the meal. Did not live up to expectations. Won't be back.

    Enjoyed the dinner experience very much. Ambience is nice though for the excellent Asian decor , music seems out of synch ? Service was very helpful, good and engaging . Food was mostly good though the wok fried veggies were a bit overdone and soggy. Will definitely return .. also tried the British IVY and had a great meal !

    We enjoyed Ivy Asia very much. The food was sensational, with interesting flavours. Service was friendly, prompt and professional. The ambience is outstanding, adding to the overall experience. Definitely on our repeat list.

    We waited 25min at the bar to be seated, during which time I drank a watery negroni. The service was pretty slow and they seemed a bit understaffed. The food was adequate but it didn't feel like much of an 'experience', as the set menu title would suggest. We had to ask for soy sauce as none came with the sushi, which was pretty average to be honest. My wife had an upset stomach this morning due to the pork dumplings which were tepid when they arrived. I tried one and left the rest, as they were pretty bland; glad I did now. I've noticed a bit of a decline in the past couple of years with The Ivy in all its incarnations. It's a shame as it used to be quite a dependable place.

    We were seated late to the table, even though we were not late. We were told it was an amazing table, but when seated it was a table shoved in the corner where the severs constantly walk past you. The food was bland and boring. No taste and overpriced for what you got. We were so excited about eating here, but were very disappointed . Overall we were there an hour, it is very much eat and get you out.

    Great service, we reserved for 6 but still the end we were 7 and they accommodated us. Food is great and the ambiance better. Service superb. Best dishes were the steaks!!
