I think the meals delivery system was very disjointed and although the Italian waitress who took our order was very pleasant and helpful but other staff who came with the food itself, brought the wrong food or forgot. I ordered a glass of wine and asked for still water with ice. We were given a £5 bottle of water and I should have thought to ask as the next table were given a jug of tap water. The sharing plate to have with our drinks did not arrive and after some considerable time, a waiter appeared with two starters of teriyaki chicken. Our order should have been one teriyaki chicken and one prawn dumplings. He took both dishes away and the manager came to confirm our order. The sharing dish still had not arrived so after some time I asked our waitress and she apologised and went away. A few minutes later, both our starters and the sharing dish arrived at the same time. Rather like having peanuts and olives being put out for you as your hot fish starter arrives ! My teriyaki chicken was cold and I suspect it was actually one of the two which had been brought out earlier. Apparently the prawn dumplings were hot and lovely. The main courses were fine but quite small portions. For just under £20 each the price of the food was ok but overall, I wasn’t impressed.

The food was cold The portions smaller The restaurant was cold. Very disappointing especially as I have eaten there many times and it was a special occasion. Very expensive for what we received.

An amazing meal in fabulous surroundings. Excellent service and the set lunch was great value .

Sadly, we had to enquire where our tea was twice which came with the afternoon tea. There was also a chocolate cup missing from the afternoon tea

We had the premium tasting menu and it was excellent, the cod dish was outstanding!!

we had explicitly noted on our booking and told our server we were celebrating our friends silver wedding anniversary, this was a no point recognized during our meal. We opted for the premium banquet, which is for sharing, why do you serve 5 prawns between 2 people, it just doesn't make sense, even the waitress agreed. For £100 per head it was a nice meal and good experience, but we feel for that kind of money it should really be spectacular and amazing!

The service had been exceptional, welcoming, professional and knowledgeable in reference to the menu/cocktail availability. The lead service (manager) had been rather unprofessional due to displaying a form of a heated debate with the front desk. I would suggest that this is not advisable upon welcoming guests and dropped the morale considerably upon the experience at I/Asia. The main meal pak choi side had been flavourless to taste. And the beef (red meat) dish that accompanied the flavour full cod, had been dry and tough to a lesser enjoyable experience. Thank you for your time.

A lovely meal in very impressive surroundings. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is very good. Only one BUT - Because of high demand, they clearly have to impose a time limit on tables. Totally get that. We ordered one of the set menus so they were completely in control of the time it took to serve us. At the end of the meal we ordered coffee which is obviously not out of the ordinary. It took them 15 minutes to bring the coffee and then while we were drinking it, they asked us to vacate the table as it was needed for someone else. We were offered a spot at the bar which we took, but obviously this disrupted our meal. To be fair to the restaurant when I pointed out that any time delays were entirely down to them they removed the cost of the coffee and our service charge from the bill, so overall I am still very happy with the experience we had. I do think it points to a learning curve for them as the people in the table next to us were also rushed with their meal and ended up having to have it put in to take out boxes, only for the table to be left vacant for at least 25 minutes. Sadly, I think this is an example of the customer experience being put 2nd to commercial considerations. Overall I would definitely go back but not for a special occasion or where you want to linger over your food.
