Nestled in the heart of Brighton’s historic quarter, the brick-paved Lanes, The Ivy Asia Brighton is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and much more.

Savour a menu as rich and varied as the diverse cultures that span the continent of Asia. With pan-Asian classics alongside incredible vegetarian and plant-based options, there’s something to please all. Expect a range of Sushi and Sashimi as well as small plates such as Pork and Kimchi dumplings, Spinach and Mushroom Gyozas or large plates such as smoking BBQ Lamb Chops and Slow-cooked Pork Belly.

I’m not typically a fan of Asian food yet this was one of the best meals I’ve had in years! The flavour combinations was spot on, the portions were perfect and the general ambiance of the restaurant as a whole was great. Incredible value for money in my opinion

Good food, but 'small plates' were very small. Chocolate dessert was too rich and too big. Needed less chocolate balls and more vanilla ice cream to balance. We enjoyed the meal but too expensive at £50 per head with no wine. Restaurant decor very good

We had the experience menu and it was incredible! Lots of food, the atmosphere was lovely, decor incredible and the service was great. I had a fantastic time celebrating my birthday and can’t wait to visit again

We arrived on time and another couple arrived after us, they were then seated before us and the waitress apologised and said our table had been given to the wrong people... the table was a nice corner more intimate table whereas we were very close to another couple and right next to the table we should have had (nothing like rubbing your nose in it). The food was outstanding and the service from those not on the door was amazing, but front of house staff seriously dampened our experience. Its ok to give us a different table, but don't tell us and then sit us right next to as if to say 'look what you could have won'

Sadly I have to report that, although the food was good quality and tasty (with the exception of half-duck which was cold and in pieces rather than shreds), service was sloppy and quite surly. Sadly I have to report that the service was very slow and sloppy and at times surly. The food was good quality and tasty BUT the half-duck and pancakes was cold. The duck was cut into pieces (rather than in shreds). Some of the other other dishes were luke-warm. We complained to the manager but when the bill arrived no adjustments to the prices had been made at all. Paid the bill without the service charge and decided never to go back. A pity because the restaurant itself is lovely.

Ivy Asia is a favourite of ours . If we are in a town that has one we will treat ourselves for a lunch. It is a very pleasant sensory overload, particularly on a very wet day. The food was delicious our choices were assisted by Emily our waitress who managed everything so well, her knowledge and sense of humour made our visit very special. All the staff were brilliant and a credit to the brand.

Amazing experience for our anniversary, our first visit and staff were fantastic, really helpful and happy to explain menu choices and ver attentive, I am coeliac and our waiter went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect

As a regular diner in The Ivy brasserie I was rather underwhelmed by the dining in Ivy Asia. A few points. From the a la carte menus, Crispy Wontons are actually dumplings and not a small selection of crisps, and when I questioned this with the waitress she assured me they were Wontons, which of course they weren’t. I should have been more assertive and sent them back but as I was with other guests I didn’t want to make a scene. The Maki Rolls were fine. Two of us ordered the aged beef sirloin which was average in taste, other guest had salmon teriyaki which they enjoyed. Lastly, I asked for a dry vodka martini with one olive and was given a ‘dirty’ martini full of olive brine, with 3 olives…absolutely horrid. Again, I should have just it back. Maybe if the waitress had actually been listening. Anyway, I’ll just stick with Ivy Brasserie from now on.

The staff have changed from my last visit 12 months ago. Before they were unhelpful, never saw a smile the whole time and forgot my drinks order twice with only about 5 tables being occupied. This time however the staff were brilliant a totally different experience, they have obviously listened to recent feedback. Can't wait to return 😊
