Nestled in the heart of Brighton’s historic quarter, the brick-paved Lanes, The Ivy Asia Brighton is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and much more.

Savour a menu as rich and varied as the diverse cultures that span the continent of Asia. With pan-Asian classics alongside incredible vegetarian and plant-based options, there’s something to please all. Expect a range of Sushi and Sashimi as well as small plates such as Pork and Kimchi dumplings, Spinach and Mushroom Gyozas or large plates such as smoking BBQ Lamb Chops and Slow-cooked Pork Belly.

When the Afternoon hits you do not want to miss out on our Asian-inspired Afternoon Tea, combining our best dishes, such as Aromatic Duck Spring Rolls, Salmon Cream Cheese and Cucumber Maki Rolls.

Whether you’re catching up with friends or unwinding with colleagues, embrace the golden hour with exceptional flavours. Savor a carefully curated selection of small plates for just £5 each—from Prawn Har Gow Dumplings and Ssamjang Chicken Yakitori to Spicy Tuna & Sesame Maki Rolls. Pair your bites with drinks from our curated menu, starting at just £4.50. Set lunch menu was disappointing. The crispy wontons were essentially crisps and not what we’d expected at all. The honey and sesame chicken was very bland and quite dry. The salt and pepper beef was good but was £4.50 extra. On balance we will stick to the a la carte menu in future as the quality is better.

Had the set menu. Very rushed. Food unexceptional. A restaurant at this price point should be a pleasant dining experience and not a fast food cafe.

The venue is amazing can’t fault it but when the restaurant is half full do you really need to be seated to an obviously loud table that will not be considerate to your evening out! Which with the prices is a treat and not an ever night event ! So ivy make it special! And make it worth the £16.00 for a glass of wine! !!!! Especially when you ask in you booking what is the reason for your visit ? And I stated “date” as requested but didn’t get a quote space or any other special treatment! Not overly impressed!! That’s see if you make change my mind and vibe back for a third time??

First time visit. My wife had been wanting to visit for sometime. Warm greeting on arrival. The place looks fantastic. Food and drink was great. Well worth a visit.

Wasn’t as busy as it has been in the past. But the Food and Service were very good. We will be back.

Our food took a while to arrive. We were asked to leave the table before we could order deserts. We asked if we could eat this at the bar but was told no. We spent a lot of money and feel this evening was reuined by being asked to leave the table. I’ve visited this restaurant many times and this was my worst experience.

Service on this occasion 21/2 was awful. We were 10 minutes early and our table was not ready yet there were empty tables waiting to be laid. Upon being seated we were surrounded by dirty uncleared tables and it didn't even seem that busy! There seem to be too many young staff being left holding the baby and taking the brunt of complaints! From entry to exit this visit was not a great experience. The food is of good quality and the staff are nice enough but it comes across as staff not being well trained in how to handle busy periods. Had 4/5 plates delivered for each course having to ask for the 5th each time and the pre arranged birthday desserts were not delivered until asked for. Overall a very disappointing visit for this special occasion. I would return but not for a while as this is my second visit in a month and service has been poor both times. I wouldn't normally post such things as everyone can have a 'bad day at the office' but as I said, service was poor on both occasions but I cannot fault the food. The wine, however, is overly expensive compared to many other venues.
