Nestled in the heart of Brighton’s historic quarter, the brick-paved Lanes, The Ivy Asia Brighton is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and much more.

Savour a menu as rich and varied as the diverse cultures that span the continent of Asia. With pan-Asian classics alongside incredible vegetarian and plant-based options, there’s something to please all. Expect a range of Sushi and Sashimi as well as small plates such as Pork and Kimchi dumplings, Spinach and Mushroom Gyozas or large plates such as smoking BBQ Lamb Chops and Slow-cooked Pork Belly.

Had a great time ambience was fab, very plush , food great , Went for a birthday with friends ( only thing are main came out late , after we had eaten ( don’t expect at the icy , drinks order wrong , But head waiter dealt with it ; very professional, def go back ( he said he would email me , Abd we would get special treatment , haven’t heard yet

Welcomed at the door and as you walk to your table the ambience of the restaurant surrounds you. Food and service excellent and all guests enjoyed a lovely evening. Thank you Ivy Asia, Brighton.

The ambience ids lovely and the food was beautifully presented and delicious but we weren’t impressed with the service as quite impersonal, took a while to get a drink at the beginning and the waiters did not know much about what the dishes were. Also all the dishes arrived at the same time so we felt rushed. We felt for the price we should have had a much friendlier service and the food should not have arrived all at once.

Food was great but appalling service. I had a full cocktail knocked all over me (large tumbler sized drink) by the waitress and I ended up with a puddle of liquid in my lap. This was a complete accident and the waitress looked very embarrassed and she was obviously new. However, I had to go to the toilet to take my trousers off and to dry them as best I could with the hand dryer! Another waiter cleared away the spilt drink but no one checked I was ok when I returned or apologised! My empty glass was still there and I was not offered a new cocktail! We had to ask the waitress for a new one and then we asked her to explain the food that had been left on our table whilst I’d been gone. A few other customers when leaving asked if I was ok due to the amount of liquid spilt all over me! When paying the bill, we asked if they would take the cocktail off the bill and they refused and just said if we aren’t happy then don’t pay the service charge! This was an accident but a free drink would have been a nice gesture!

Great atmosphere ,food was ok but steak was chewy . Bar service was good but waiter table service wasn’t so good as we were told that we wouldn’t be able to have a dessert as there wasn’t enough time , we booked the table for 7.30 but didn’t sit down until 7.40 as table was delayed . I certainly had a dessert and the manager said we could have them on the house I should think so too .

Very disappointed that the duck is no longer part of the set menus. Service needs improvement, was great to start but slacked off. Asked us if we were celebrating anything but didn’t do anything to help us celebrate, so why bother asking. It used to be value for money but £60 for the top set menu was overpriced, the starters were nice but the main beef was very chewy. And again no duck! The wontons should be an added extra not part of the set menu!

Food came up cold and was not offered any discount. Issues with ordering wine first off. Bill was wrong and overpaid and was told I had the wrong bill once I started checking it. For the money paid here I expect better
