The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

1st impression was overall beautiful environment. Menu appearance is a giant book. Very cool. Beef carpaccio was bland. Charred Octopus was delicious and presentation was impressive. Lasagna was delicious. We didn't like the idea of the shrimp and cold seafood salesperson coming to our table. The desserts are OVERPRICED AND SMALL. We had the tiramisu bland. I have had much better elsewhere. The cannoli cigars were cute BUT the cannolis at the Sicilian Baker are FAR better. So my husband was disappointed.

As every new resterant, I went a month ago an service was TOP but yesterday was horrible, waitres had as 20 minuts waiting to ask for a drink then, she went to take to large party orders that got there after us (we were only 2 people) so we asked one of the manager to take the order for us. Managers are great hostes ar very good, but will be good that the manager look for the table and the service provided. Hope this plas dont turn like any other franchise restaurant.

Beyond excellent- Make a reservation & enjoy the freshest and most authentic Italian food! The service is lovely & everyone that works there knows how to do their job in the most hospitable way. We had a very good time and will be back again!

The waiter totally forgot to split our salad, then didn't bring salad dressing to the table with the salad. The bread was served with three pieces for five people. Later they did replenish it. The noise was too loud and the food was mediocre.

Menu selection was limited, salmon wasn’t very good. Seems the new car smell is wearing off.

We were welcomed warmly upon arrival and the wait staff was very attentive. The selection of food was very diverse and our waiter, Kenneth suggested the daily specials. Our food was served in a timely manner and was hot and had generous portions. Our food selection were all perfectly done and delicious. Again the wait staff was always making sure we had everything we needed. Very nice ambience and friendly atmosphere. People actually seemed to enjoy working here. Highly recommended. We will be back.

The food and service are absolutely outstanding. I love the ambience of this new restaurant. My only complaint is it’s quite loud. The way the tables are set up it can be loud when the place is full, which is most of the time.
