The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

Wonderful experience at this beautiful new restaurant - beautifull decor, attention to detail .. lovely china and serving dishes. Great staff looking professional in their attire. Everyone was so friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu ! Gary was great and a lovely chance to meet Michael who too was delightful. Our new favorite Italian restaurant. Who needs Cafe Monarch !

We liked it. The food wasn’t worth the price, unfortunately, even after sending a dish back to the kitchen. We also got up charged due a drink when the waiter didn’t clarify which drink we ordered. Overall, we liked it.

Food was great, only negative is that it is very bright in there :) if you want a dimly lit restaurant , def not the place. They intermittently dim the lights and you get about three seconds of relief from the surgical lights and then right back to thinking it’s daytime…

The overall experience was amazing and we will return. The only food item that did not live up to the quility of the resturant was the unbelievable bad bread. That is the only disconnect with the rest of the food. It didn't make sense to us how bad it was. Everything else was outstanding.

Food is excellent! Drinks and desserts are also very good! The manager Michael goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of

WOW!! My husband and I got married yesterday, December 31st, 2024, and we decided to celebrate at a new restaurant which was this AMAZING place! We couldn't have had a better time! Everyone was so polite and energetic! Our waiter, Mario, was excellent, kind, and attentive! We even spoke to Michael, the GM, who congratulated us on our marriage and gave my husband a shot on the house! They also treated us with two delicious desserts! Visitors from inside even stopped to say 'congratulations!' It was so beautiful inside and the piano music was a plus! The food was delicious, my husband said it was the best filet mignon he ever had! And they even made me a tasty Mocktail because I can't drink alcohol right now as we are expecting. My husband and I cannot wait to come back again AND SOON! Hopefully we can meet Chef Joey next time!
