The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

Outstanding!! Great food and wine! Loved being at this spectacular restaurant with great unique decor. Sensational food and great staff. Can’t wait to go back and have the same meal. Highly recommend the Caesar salad and chicken Parmesan.

This wasn’t just a dinner, it was an experience. The decor is unlike any other restaurant in Arizona and the atmosphere was incredible. We were seated by the piano player who was awesome playing Billy Joel to Frank Sinatra. As for the food we tried a lot of dishes. The pasta was homemade, no doubt. The zucchini flowers were sooo good and the had the braciole, which is a rarity in these parts! The deserts were off the hook and the overall dinner was top notch. We can’t wait to go back!

Had a great experience. Our waiter, Giovani was from Sicily and he was great. The food was very good, we started with the imported burrata, then split a Caesar Salad, then for the main course she had the lobster ravioli and I had the Italiano Mare. Started with a split bottle of Perrier Jouet and then moved to the Vermentino. Only thing is I wished there were more champagnes on the list, ie a Moet Chandon Imperial Rose would have been nice. All and all a really good meal and very good experience.

We are big fans of the Italian daughter and have dined there many times. So we thought we would try Italiano and see how it goes. First, the place slammed and they did a very good job getting the table as quickly as they could. Nice place a little stark but again the service was impeccable and everyone was very friendly. Primary concern was around the food, which was mostly bland. Good ingredients, well prepared, but just lacking flavor and a disappointment. Will try it again for sure.

Rarely do you find a place where the pictures and videos online match the real life thing, but at the Italiano, it was even more amazing in real life than the photos could ever portray. Chef Joey personally came around not only to check on you, but to make you feel like family as Italian culture would have it. The manager, Eddie came over multiple times to check on us and engage in conversation as if we had known each other for years. We will absolutely be back. Amazing experience.

Everyone has been waiting for the opening, so it's busy and loud. Food was excellent, beautifully presented. Service was also good. Brian was very helpful with selections.
