The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

The wine and food (octopus, shrimp scampi and rigatoni with shrimp were delicious. Our server was excellent and very accommodating.

If you're looking for an exceptional Italian dining experience, The Italiano is a must-visit! From the moment we arrived, the warm ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening, blending a cozy, inviting atmosphere with elegant touches that made it feel special yet comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing authentic Italian flavors with a modern twist. Every dish we tried, from the creamy risotto to the perfectly cooked pasta, was a hit. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the chef's attention to detail was evident in every bite. Our server, Ken, truly elevated the experience with attentive, friendly service. He knew the menu inside out, offered great recommendations, and was always there when we needed him without being intrusive. The manager, Eddie, also stopped by our table to check in, adding a personal touch that made us feel genuinely welcome and appreciated. Overall, The Italiano nailed it with fantastic food, stellar service, and a charming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The staff is amazing and super friendly which is really nice and welcoming. The food never seems to disappoint and we were so excited to see you took our suggestion for the Cacio e Pepe we had to order it! Delicious! The antipasto chopped salad was incredible! Even better than your Caesar and we loved that one. This our fourth time in as we live nearby and it won’t be our last. I think I enjoy your lunch menu just as much I’m so glad you are doing lunch and dinner! Thanks for some great experiences that bread with pesto butter, almond cookies, and limoncello are a memorable touch as well keep it up! We keep wanting to come back and will!

Every thing was wonderful. But the piano was too loud. I hate to have to yell across the table.

We were a party of 6 and this was our first time dining here and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was packed and it was a Monday night. The ambience is absolutely wonderful and the service is top-notch. Starting with the welcome at the check in desk, to the manager, Usiel and to our fabulous server, Carissa, who was so attentive and very personable. Her assistant server last evening was terrific (unfortunately his name escapes me but want to give him a special shout out). We all enjoyed the appetizers (zucchini blossoms were simple and yummy, the stuffed peppers were so flavorful and had a little heat, the calamari was perfectly cooked. The presentation for the grilled octopus was so unique and cooked to perfection). .The portion size of the Bolonese lasagna was ginormous and the chicken parmigiana was incredibly large. Both delicious. The veal bracciole was excellent as was the gnocchi and eggplant entree. We sat in the bar area, which is very lively. Excellent piano player. If you’re looking for a quieter table, I suggest being in the dining room area. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be returning. Don’t forget to make a reservation.
