The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

The staff is amazing and super friendly which is really nice and welcoming. The food never seems to disappoint and we were so excited to see you took our suggestion for the Cacio e Pepe we had to order it! Delicious! The antipasto chopped salad was incredible! Even better than your Caesar and we loved that one. This our fourth time in as we live nearby and it won’t be our last. I think I enjoy your lunch menu just as much I’m so glad you are doing lunch and dinner! Thanks for some great experiences that bread with pesto butter, almond cookies, and limoncello are a memorable touch as well keep it up! We keep wanting to come back and will!

Every thing was wonderful. But the piano was too loud. I hate to have to yell across the table.

We were a party of 6 and this was our first time dining here and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was packed and it was a Monday night. The ambience is absolutely wonderful and the service is top-notch. Starting with the welcome at the check in desk, to the manager, Usiel and to our fabulous server, Carissa, who was so attentive and very personable. Her assistant server last evening was terrific (unfortunately his name escapes me but want to give him a special shout out). We all enjoyed the appetizers (zucchini blossoms were simple and yummy, the stuffed peppers were so flavorful and had a little heat, the calamari was perfectly cooked. The presentation for the grilled octopus was so unique and cooked to perfection). .The portion size of the Bolonese lasagna was ginormous and the chicken parmigiana was incredibly large. Both delicious. The veal bracciole was excellent as was the gnocchi and eggplant entree. We sat in the bar area, which is very lively. Excellent piano player. If you’re looking for a quieter table, I suggest being in the dining room area. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be returning. Don’t forget to make a reservation.

Our second time dining at The Italiano. It was even more wonderful than our first time. Great staff, decor, food and evening. It's our new fav place!

It was wonderful, the sandwiches are incredible and can definitely be shared! Our server, Gary, was very kind and we will definitely be back!

It was my husband’s birthday. The service was great. Nice and busy on a Sunday night with great ambiance. The food was fantastic. Drinks were great. We dine out at 5 star restaurants every weekend and I can say this restaurant really is one of the best.

Food was really good, the butternut squash ravioli taste like Christmas .. yum. Everything we tried was good, our waiter was awesome , very nice , took care of us ! The greeting and service at the front of the restaurant is horrible , waited 30 minutes for our table , no communication about being behind , no offer to go to bar and wait , not very personable or accommodating at the front . So they need to iron out some links and the dinner service turn over . So I’ll wait a month or 2 to go back hopefully that gets better .

Beautiful environment once you’re inside. Our waiter & management was great but not enough back help for them with things like refilling water & new utensils. Grilled octopus app was the fave of the apps we had (eggplant is cold like carpaccio & we also had the stuffed peppers). Gnocchi & pappardelle with short rib were both excellent dishes. The linguine & clams were quite good but not very brothy. Spimoni cake was yummy too. For a large, busy restaurant, they really managed the noise level nicely and we could hear everyone at our table and the piano!
