The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

Loved the decor but I think they should have less tables for a more intimate atmosphere…tables way too close to each other I heard everyone’s conversation. Food: most of the food we ordered was really good except for the calamari…barely any breading and most of it was chewy…..I ordered the lobster ravioli with the extra 1/2 pound lobster….ravioli was good but the 1/2 pound lobster had no flavor whatsoever could have used garlic butter and lemon and it would have been perfect.

If you're looking for great Italian food this is the place. Our foursome had different meals and all were great. Our server Bryan was fantastic and so were the other staff. Chef Joe knows quality. I also loved that all staff wore beautiful outfit - definitely will return

Great Date Night! We were seated in the Fireplace room. We started with the Polenta & Prawns Fra Diavolo -OOOhhh, so delicious, I would order again in a heartbeat! We split the Caesar Salad. Loved the presentation in the focaccia bread wheel though it lacked some flavor. Would consider the add option of anchovies if I ordered again. My husband had the Spicy Rigatoni Alla Vodka with added Chicken & per our Waiter's suggested added Meatballs as well. It was one of the highest rated Meatballs I have tasted! I had the Short Rib Lasagna and was in heaven, though it's a big portion and brought home more than half. Both entrees were simply delectable. For dessert, my husband enjoyed the Spumoni Cake. It was lovely with the pistacchio topping. We will be taking my inlaws next week so they can experience the food. Can't wait to return. Side note: We were surprised by how dressed down some diners were.

Food was SO delicious, and the service was one of the best ones I’ve had, they were very attentive and quick with requests. The place looks spectacular and the vibes are immaculate.

First time there.Service from start to finish was just about perfect.Food was incredible.Looking forward to going back soon.

We had read great things about Italiano, the chef being the offspring of an icon in Phoenix. The restaurant is nicely appointed and food was very good . Our party of 4 all ordered different entrees. The negatives of the evening were the noise level being extra high, our waiter Gary catering to another table to the point where we had to call him out for attention to us, never seeing the antipasto cart which he told us about and I had read about. Disappointed in the way patrons dressed: shorts and flip flops to nice business attire for men and lovely outfits on some women.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The pasta is just perfectly cooked . Everyone on point. Our waiter jovvani was absolutely fantastic. Tnx We would definitely go back.
