The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

Our group had a wonderful time. Everyone took great care of us from the time we booked and had some requests and dietary restrictions to the dining experience itself. We will definitely be back.

Restaurant Review: Italiano If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Italiano is the place to go. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for what turned out to be an exceptional evening. The food was nothing short of amazing—each dish was crafted with care and attention to detail, bursting with authentic flavors that transported us straight to Italy. Whether it was the perfectly cooked pasta, the rich and savory sauces, or the indulgent desserts, every bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and passion. The service was equally impressive. Our server was attentive and friendly, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine warmth. But what truly set this experience apart was the personal touch from the General Manager, Michael Kosov. He came to our table multiple times throughout the evening, making us feel like honored guests. His hospitality and charisma elevated the entire experience, leaving a lasting impression. If you’re in the mood for extraordinary food paired with top-notch service, Italiano is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

This is my 4th time going to The Italiano. Beware, when you request dining room, they will always try to get you to sit in the lounge and then if you insist, they will offer the table outside the lounge but closest to. Only if you insist will you then get to the dining room! Once in four was wonderful. The other three had great pasta, but extremely mediocre sauces. This is disappointing.

Overall, we enjoyed our meal. The service was great and the food was very good. The restaurant really doesn’t feel like it’s in a strip mall. Once inside, we got a very “Vegas” vibe. In a good way!

The food was very good-generous portions. Fabulous ambience in most of the restaurant. There is one section that his very average so be sure to ask for a table in the main dining rooms or bar area.

Came here for our anniversary dinner. TJ provided us with top notch service. He made sure we had everything we needed and anticipated our needs which is always appreciated! He timed our food perfectly for app to salad to main course and dessert. The food itself was fresh and so delicious. Again, the service was unmatched and TJ crushed it! Thanks for a wonderful anniversary dinner!

Even with a reservation, had to wait 20 min for a table. Staff left a tray, on a stand, covered in dirty dishes right next to our table for the majority of our meal. It was really distasteful. Food was good but the restaurant is located 30 min from our house and I would not take the time or make the effort to go to dinner here again.
