Our country pub and bar area is at the heart of The Inn which offers classic and contemporary interiors, relaxed seating and open fires. Enjoy country pub classic food dishes including daily specials and fine wines, cocktails, real ales and craft beer. Head Chef Shane White and his team have created a menu inspired by the seasons and resources and celebrates the amazing produce North Yorkshire has to offer.

Enjoy some Swiss Winter tradition our ‘Fondue Experience’. Served in the Garden Room over looking the winter gardens, traditional music, fluffy blankets share a fully set table with a fondue pot and all the accompaniments with friends to dip away with crusty bread, baby cornichons, potatoes, roasted sprouts, and charcuterie meats with a 125ml glass of Grüner Veltliner. We had Sunday dinner, it was excellent and we are really pleased to hear that you serve until 8pm. You will be seeing more of us. Lovely staff too!

My husband and I went for an impromptu Anniversary lunch on Tuesday which was so lovely. The staff made a huge effort so that we could enjoy it. Thank you particularly to Jo who was excellent. Not only were the staff lovely and attentive but the food and drinks were excellent too. Thank you for a lovely time!

Stopped overnight at the Inn and had dinner in the restaurant. Food was very good, the scotch egg and chicken skewer were highlights. Friendly and efficient service too.

Firstly the car park on entry states that you must pay for parking, which was £5.00 then on the exit sign it states car parking is free to diners and guests - poor signage - complained at the bar and was told "sorry, we understand it can be confusing signage but nothing we can do and won't be refunding parking fee" - fair enough but felt a bit annoyed, We had arrived early hoping for a drink in the bar before going to our table but were told we should go to our table straight away, ordered some drinks which took 20 minutes to arrive. Ordered food, some SHARING plates, one of which was arancini, we asked how many arancini (given they were sharing plates) there was to a portion - the waitress said she couldn't remember but thought it was three or four. When it arrived it was one very small arancini (8.95) along with seperate sharing plate of yorkshire bread and butter which looked utterly disgusting along with satay chicken looked tiny and barely edible - oh and rewind a bit, we had ordered some more drinks which we were still waiting for and told there was a 20 min delay/queue for any drinks... at the sight of the nibbles sharing plates we'd just about had enough and decided to leave. Asked for the bill, which they struggled to put together and then the system seemed to be playing up... so they just said no bill for the drinks that never arrived, which we would have paid for despite not getting them. Felt sorry for the staff at complete and utter lack of training. Nothing short of shambolic. Never leave bad reviews but this is an exception
