We stayed at the inn for a night. Had lunch and evening meal there. We had 3 small plates to share at lunch of sundried tomato hummus that was very good;scotch egg nice, but maybe an extra 30 seconds on the boiled egg as it was slightly ‘snotty’. It was rolled in a sort of pankora breadcrumb which was different in a good way. Crab tacos, I requested the dehydrated tacos, but they were rather rubbery. Maybe slightly longer in the dehydrator and not too much of a crab taste either. Could not be sure if it was frozen crab meat if you can get that? Evening meal was schnitzel with fries with the sauce changed to peppercorn, which was different, but good. Husband enjoyed it along with his chocolate tart. I had the beef cheek. Everything was perfect, in fact exceptional and a thank you to Chef! Unfortunately, I ordered the Alaska desert. It clearly identifies not baked but browned. Not for me. Meringue too sickly as not baked so no texture. Strawberry ice cream was ok, but the sponge base was solid and too thick. I left most of it and went upstairs leaving husband to finish his drink. If I had finished at my main it would have been perfect. Price wise on food maybe slightly overpriced as a few areas not executed as well as they could have been for an inventive menu. Malbec wine, old fashioned cocktail and coffee was nice and free water. Staff lovely and helpful!! Breakfast was included in the room rate, it you do not have to be a patron to visit. One had sausage and bacon on brioche with tea and orange the other smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, orange and coffee. All fine. I would eat there again

Beautifully decorated and good layout with plenty of space. Only drawback was, that if you'd like to eat on the outdoor terrace you have to order at the bar and not allowed a tab (which is understandab1e). We ate inside. Friendly staff. Food was well priced. Our party of 8 had the Sunday dinner, all choices were so tasty and it was lovely to have Cauliflower Cheese as an inclusive vegetable. All our party enjoyed it, will definitely be back and will recommend to friends.

The Sunday lunch could not have been any better, it was served perfectly and tasted Yum. Plenty of veg and gravy and a crispy Yorkshire pudding! Just wish I had had room for dessert!

We absolutely loved the food! We’d definitely recommend eating here. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars was because the mozzarella tomato starter dish was bland, watery and had the consistency of scrabbled eggs. The rest of the food was outstanding!

This is our go to place and a couple of times a week, we love this place and the team are amazing!! Never had such good friendly service from anywhere other than here!! Been coming here for 5 years and will continue to!! Well done the Inn on Cheltenham Parade a cracking hidden gem!!!

Had another fabulous evening at The Inn at Cheltenham Parade. The food, drink, service, ambiance, and spending time with friends and our pups, was perfect!

We had yet another fabulous meal and get together at the Inn at Cheltenham parade. Never fails. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and manager, wonderful GF options, fab wine and cocktail selections, and THE BEST sticky toffee pud in all the land. x

We have been coming to the Inn at Cheltenham Parade every time we have come to Harrogate. The In has become our most favourite place to eat and have an evening drink. The staff are most welcoming and very accommodating to our needs. The food and its presentation very tasteful and very enticing to come back for more.
