The ambiance and menu were great, the service was not there. Our server did not know the answers to our questions regarding the mimosa tower, she did not provide an option to best suit our requests (she said the champagne and juice are already premixed but another table got their tower with no mix added) she never followed up with us after receiving our food to ask if we needed any sauce or check in, we had to go up to another server to ask for another bottle of champagne, condiments, and our tab. The food was hot which was great but some items were overcooked, overall tasty.

I brought in 9 of my friends to Brunch here. Our waiter knew nothing about the menu. Asked one of the ladies 5 times what she ordered. Tenders and cakes. She had the easiest meal and got it last and well after our food. Two of us ordered the famous oxtails n grits they call it. Our portion was extremely small, and grits were old and reheated. They should have advised they were running low bc the table beside us had a huge bowl type plate full of grits and oxtails. I was too embarrassed to even take a pic of the 4 oxtail "tips," and I'm talking the tip of the tails. Positive note they did taste good. The drinks were good, and this place has great potential to be an awesome place. I had to apologize to my friends who traveled from all over from Fort Worth, Irving, grand praire, Denton, and Mc Kinney. If we ever come back, it will be for the drinks. The food portion was small, overcooked, old, etc. Overpriced food w no size or value. We easily spent $600-700, if not more, with a forced gratuity. Very disappointed, and they called me 4 times to confirm we were coming.

The food was delicious and hot. It did take a while but we didn’t mind since we came as a family needing to catch up. The music was at a good level to where we could talk, and the server was sweet. The drink was also yummy. I brought my baby girl and she enjoyed the chicken wings and jollof rice. The peri peri chicken was nice and the oxtail was scrumptious. My dad had the steak which looked juicy. Looking forward to coming back!

Great atmosphere. Food underwhelming. Service super slow. No one approached our table until sitting there almost 45 minutes. Food items ordered forgotten and not received. Fried chicken and crawfish beignets fried in old oil.

I ordered the beef egusi with fufu. It was delicious. Just the right amount of spice. The drinks were hand crafted well and the ambience was delightful. They were playing a basketball game on tv which I didn’t mind at all. The patrons were very welcoming as well. I will definitely return.
