Huxley us just amazing, the staff is super friendly and the food is so yummy. They are dog friendly as well :)

I like The Huxley for brunch and this was first time for dinner. The service is always 5 star, the space welcoming and not too noisy for good table conversation. Food is generally strong although not a big range of options and in my dish not as value for money as I expected. It would not put me off going again though.

Great space, comfortable seating. delicious food, lovely waiting staff. The menu is limited but what you get is good.

My friends and I enjoyed our birthday lunch in the relaxed setting. Bobby and her staff looked after us well, giving recommendation for the wagyu beef sandwich which was indeed delicious, and the seasoned fries were definitely more ISH (the sweet pickled onions should be mentioned too). Chocolate brownie was light, with candied pecans and just the right amount of of toffee sauce, and melting ice cream. We were treated to complimentary glass of prosecco and a sweet board wishing us a happy birthday. A special place for a special occasion ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brilliant breakfast stop. We had a mum and son breakfast as part of October holidays and I’ve been assured this was the best hot chocolate ever. I had the eggs Benedict which was amazing and my son ordered the Scottish breakfast which was massive but such good quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed and we really enjoyed the start of our day together.

The staff were lovely, however drinks orders were forgotten a couple of times and we had to wait 20 minutes for a round of hot drinks (on two occasions) and the bottle of water wasn’t replenished, despite asking. I understand there was a larger table that ordered a round of drinks so we had to wait, but that didn’t account for the first round we had ordered. Food was good as usual, but service was poor unfortunately. We we’re celebrating a birthday so it was a bit of a shame.

The Huxley has become my personal indulgence as there is nothing like dinner with a view! I really don’t need a menu at this point. Just do yourself a favor and get the trio sliders. Just the right amount of fish beef and pork that is well presented with a side of chips.
