Rose Garden Tea Room is set within the historic Rose Garden, the Tea Room offers an elegant and memorable experience inspired by the tradition of English tea service with a distinctive California twist.

Any party with more than 6 guests MUST call to make their reservation or email tearoom@huntington.org.
Please do not divide your party into multiple reservations, as each Open Table reservation will be treated as individual and will not guarantee adjacent tables.

Please note that visiting the Rose Garden Tea Room requires purchasing admission to The Huntington. When planning to visit the Tea Room, please purchase a separate ticket to The Huntington for the same day as your Tea Room reservation. Tickets are available at huntington.org

I made my reservation over 6 months ago and requested to be seated in the main room. When we arrived, there was no main room available and the hostess was not apologetic at all. The food was extremely disappointing. First, the scones are not warmed up. The bread on the sandwiches was all dried and couldn't really taste the freshness of it. The sweets were all standard, nothing spectacular. As for iced drinks, there's only one iced tea option, which is another huge disappointment. All in all, you can only come here for the view and the fact that you are dining in the Rose Garden at Huntington. Don't expect to have decent food nor great service.

The large price you pay just for being at the garden... I just don't see the value. I have done high tea literally all of the world, and I was shocked at this sticker price for what you got. Service was excellent and the ambiance not bad due to the location but would not go again due to the high price tag. Cutesy sandwiches just didn't hit our palette.

Awesome service and very welcoming. The atmosphere was great. All the staff that came in contact were very nice and accommodating.

The customer service, and waitstaff ae amazing.....made the whole day worthwhile. The sandwiches' were excellent, however the roll for the lobster was a bit , I would stay stale. I know pretzel rolls are thicker than bread, but this one was overly dry...change it or make sure they are super fresh. I personally was disappointed in the selection of sweets. The scones were delicious, however the tartlets , I would say mediocre at best. I think a larger assortment and variation would be more complimentary to the whole high tea experience. Of course the Teas was wonderful, and adequate...and the Proseco better than most out there. Yes, I would go again, but not for awhile.

High quality experience at the newly renovated Tea Room. The tea, sandwiches and sweets were delicious and very filling. The vibe amazingly on point for afternoon tea. Enjoyed the additional cheese plate and cocktail. Service was wonderful and professional.

A visit during my stay in Los Angeles wouldn’t have been complete without a high tea here. Everything was delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. The gardens and galleries were a beautiful walk afterwards.
