$322 for 3 people. The steaks were not cooked to order and one of the entries was 7 minutes after the other two. Just really sub-par for a nice place at these prices.

Accommodated our request for a window table. And brought out 2 slices of chocolate cake for birthday celebration with name written on the plate. Wonderful surprise! Food was excellent including the crab cake starter and the shrimp & grits entree.

My friend and I both drove 1 1/2 hours from different directions to meet up in Montgomery. We had made brunch reservations in advance at another restaurant. When we got to that reservation, they weren’t even open. Yikes. We scrambled to find another restaurant to go to(remember we had already driven over an hour) and found the House Restaurant on Open Table. When we got here, we originally wanted outside, but the heat was unbearable lol, so we moved inside. The servers were very accommodating and the food and drinks were top tier. It didn’t really give us the brunch “vibes” we were looking for as it really was just a hotel restaurant with mostly hotel patroons who were rolling out of the bed and coming down for breakfast lol…and we were sort of dressed up. But, for a hotel restaurant, the food was soooooo good! We’ll definitely be back, with perhaps more casual clothes on next time!

The host was very kind and greeted us with a happy anniversary wish. During our meal the soux chef came by to check on our meal and make sure everything was pleasing. Very good service and excellent food
