THE HOUSE is a historic oasis where people can eat, drink and celebrate day or night in true Florida Riviera style. Located directly on the New River referred to as the Venice of America, in the heart of Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Be part of something new on the river Downtown Fort Lauderdale with our "HOUSE OF VEUVE", where we will be featuring a "Veuve" themed brunch party experience in the west house. Design and decor set the stage for the special a la carte food menu offered along with tasty sips and of course "Veuve" by the bottle or the glass. This tasty, fun and fashionable brunch experience is only offered by pre-reservation on Saturday & Sunday afternoons. The vibe is created for outdoor dining, indoor seating is available for those not so perfect days and those that prefer to sit inside.

    We were there for the Vueve brunch experience. Unfortunately, it was not a nice day so it was inside… but they did a great job. The original hostess that greeted us at the door was not very pleasant but once we reached the area of the restaurant for the special event, the service staff was amazing. The ambience and the food were also incredible. Pricing was super reasonable. Can’t wait to go back.

    I confirmed my reservation with a credit card. The hostess greeted me doubt about my reservation because I hadn’t answered her phone call confirming the reservation an hour prior to arrival. We arrived 5 minutes early but couldn’t be seated until the last two members of our party arrived. Then, our waitress was less than accommodating. She went through the obligatory motions of service but was clearly not having a great day. I won’t be returning to this establishment.

    Our dining experience was truly delightful! Our table overlooked the river, offering a stunning view of boats gliding by and twinkling lights reflecting on the water. The host and waiter were incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We both ordered cheeseburgers, and they were absolutely delicious-perfectly cooked and packed with that good old chargrilled flavor and finished off with caramelized onions! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with only a 5 minute walk to see Bob Weir at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, making it a perfect spot for a memorable evening. We can't wait to return!

    We arrived and were seated in the swing room. It's beautiful however it was freezing in the space. It's small and has a very large ceiling vent that blows directly on to the table,food and guests. The Tartar was delicious, we ordered the brunch board and it was simply under whelming for the $30 per person charge. The food was dry/over prepared and came out late and cold to our table. The frittata was good and so was the short rib slider.

    This place at night is beautiful we did outdoor dining my man & I for Christmas Eve, I received a text earlier then my reservation time which was great, we got seated immediately. Our server came to us provided us with water and took our chose of drinks and explained certain dishes we had questions on, we ordered and appetizer came to our table at a reasonable time, we then ordered our entrees and food also came out at a reasonable time, our food was fresh and tasty. Took a walk inside this place is a gem, if your looking for a nice night out this is a place you should definitely try, looking forward on doing brunch one weekend.
