Design and decor set the stage for the special a la carte food menu offered along with tasty sips and of course "Veuve" by the bottle or the glass. This tasty, fun and fashionable brunch experience is only offered by pre-reservation on Saturday & Sunday afternoons. The vibe is created for outdoor dining, indoor seating is available for those not so perfect days and those that prefer to sit inside.

Had an amazing time with my friends on my birthday Exceptional service, great food, and fabulous ambiance. Will definitely be going back for brunch.

Sat at the table without napkins/silverware. Drinks came out one at a time even though they were ordered at the same time. Steaks were overcooked and took forever to come out. Server never asked if anything was needed and if everything was ok. Ambiance was nice, parking was easy. I was so hopeful this would be my next regular spot.

Had to ask for service once arrived after sitting for at least 10 minutes. The hostess who was very nice needed more help. So many people waiting. Caesar salad had no dressing and croutons that weee crushed. Disappointed for sure.

It was the most beautiful experience for an anniversary early evening ever!! So romantic and sat together on the swing and watched the boats go by !! Food was so delicious!! A definite return visit !!

Although our first experience was good and the waiters were great, we was disappointed that we were recommended by their partnership with The Parker Theater who offered a 10% discount and the manager did not honor it eventhough it was in writing. He said, oh that doesn't start until next month which was not true. I just think that was shady business. We paid the full bill. We're not sure we will go back. Shady!

I was so excited to dine here and was left underwhelmed. The atmosphere was lovely but the food was sub par. Not a single vegetarian main course on the menu and nothing vegan! I asked the waitress if there was a vegetarian meal and she said there was a salad. Our waitress was very nice and helpful but service was spotty. I had to ask for the water to be refilled 3 separate times and 2 people told me they would do it and never came back. I asked them to make me a pasta dish with veggies and it was not very good. My husband got a non alcoholic drink and they still charged the full $13 dollars for basically a cup of juice. I was told the jumbo shrimp on the snapper were too fishy to eat but that the snapper itself was good and not fishy at all. Lovely evening but food and service overall was sub par. The restaurant seemed disorganized

The whole house and area was beautiful. Easy to make a same day reservation. We got appetizers. I personally loved the asparagus melt but Both so good. The server really upsold the dinner. The short rib with whipped potatoes, top 5 best meals I’ve ever had. I can’t remember what the name of my drink was called but it was also 10/10

We had dinner at the House on the River before attending a performance at the Broward Center. The food was excellent as was the service. What a beautiful place to dine along the river and it was a short walk to the theatre. Perfect evening!!

My first visit. Unfortunately probably my last. Despite the beautiful environment and rich history, the food and service were average at best. So disappointing for our date night before the show at the Broward center.
