We've been serving the people of Braintree and beyond since 2015 and in that time have humbly become ‘one of Essex’s best restaurants.’ We have received recognition from the AA, having been awarded an AA Rosette for ‘culinary excellence’ for five consecutive years, and then in 2023 we received our second rosette, putting the restaurant amongst the top 10 restaurants in Essex. Our food is of course one of our main focuses, but we don’t just stop there. Attentive, relaxed and friendly service is as important as the food and our objective is to make your visit an enjoyably memorable one. Our exceptional wine supplier, Peter Watts Wines (based up the road in Coggeshall) allows us to offer you delicious wines of an exceptional quality. Then add some cocktails, jazz, personality, creativity, a few hidden quirks and we like to think this all culminates to create a truly wonderful experience. Life is about memories; we want to be part of your best ones.

Exceeded expectations. Food was perfect - great options to choose from, amazing quality, right quantities. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient - shoutout to Daisy specifically. We will definitely be back and have already recommended to others. Thank you!

Fabulous Bottomless brunch lovely food and lovely atomshpere. Was a bit disappointed that you no longer provide cocktails in this brunch as still being advertised as late as this morning on your website. Overall a lovely afternoon

Our first visit, on a Friday lunchtime, was a real delight. The staff are friendly and helpful, the menu tempting and the meal was delicious. What an unexpected experience. We must return soon !

We have been here a few times and always enjoyed it however tonight was just amazing we celebrated our anniversary with our one year old son. The food was excellent the service was outstanding and i want to add that daisy is a credit to you. We really enjoyed our evening and we look forward to returning
