    Booking is essential. We were seated immediately in courtyard. Wait for drinks and food order was OK as they were busy. Food good and portions good. Nice selection of drinks including cocktails and mocktails. Definitely return. Best on a sunny evening in courtyard

    Henry & his team did an outstanding job as always. The Shoes is our go to for a meal out as everything is always top notch. Beautiful food, ever changing menu & fantastic service make a perfect combination for a great dining experience.

    We had a very pleasant meal at the shoes, we planned the restaurant, but as the sun was shining we had a covered table in the garden instead which was lovely. We were well looked after, the butty Bach was very well kept and the food very good too. The new to the new to the menu prawn pizza was rated very good by my friend! Affogato to finish, and a very enjoyable time for a very reasonable price. Well done the shoes

    Made the children feel special for their birthday.Each person who came to the table gave a happy birthday greeting. Candles added to their deserts.

    Lunch in the bar. warm and friendly reception followed by efficient and very polite service… my wife opted for the cod I had the sirloin steak cooked to perfection and both dishes completely devoured…. apple and peach crumble with pistachio ice cream worked well together… delicious. Not our first visit and won’t be our last.

    Good food again quirky venue hopefully menu will change soon as is a little restricted but always tasty and plenty of it
