Lovely lunch experience for me and my wife, we just recently moved to the area and wanted to find somewhere local that has a lovely setting and beautiful food and we found it at 'The Hole In The Wall'. Staff were super friendly and polite, food came out in perfect time, and once it did arrive it looked and tasted amazing. Even before we had received our dishes, we noticed just how lovely all the plates coming out were and how devious they smelt. Would definitely recommend The Hole In The Wall!

1st time here and had read good reviews. Parking is tricky as very small car park and cars were double parked. Food is tasty and fairly reasonably priced but the service was terrible. We were brought the menus but not asked if we wanted a drink. There was water on the table. A long time later someone came to take our food order. Quite a wait for our starters which were fine. Then nothing…in 2 hours we had only had a drink and a starter! We asked a waiter to check with the kitchen and a short time later we had our mains, again fine although nothing special. Waiting staff (family?) were very softly spoken and difficult to hear sometimes. There was no apology for the very long wait/delay. There was no service added to the bill. Not sure we will return.

Outstanding in every way. Cant wait to return. We had fish and chips and nice drinks and delicious dessert. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Beautifully set, lovely building and decor was greeted at the door and shown to our beautifully laid table, servrd water at the table with a choice of either still or sparkling menus gave to us and we made our choice 3 meat roast .. came to our table lovely and hot, extra pot of gravy, a choice of sauces ... food was lovely, and caulifower cheese on the plate and didnt have to pay extra!! Always a bonus !! ... didnt have any room for pudding unfortuently .... all in all a pleasant sunday lunch and very well priced.

We had Sunday lunch. Great food, hot and good sized portions. Service was with a smile and attentive without being overly so. It was our first time and we will definitely go back. Highly recommended.
