Three people at our table and all three of us ordered a different meal. The fish and chips was a big hit, as was the beef pie and the nachos. Next time I will try the beef pie as although I love fish, I'm not a fan of batter on my fish. (They may prepare it without batter if you ask, i didnt ask) The service was perfect and if I had to say anything negative, it would be that it was really noisey. But that just means that everyone was having a great time. I would definitely recommend the Hog n' Penny.

The staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant and washrooms were clean. All four dinners were delicious and presented value for money. Great pub atmosphere. We’ll be back.

We had drinks but no food however the survey makes you rate it. We liked our drinks. As usual, we enjoyed the trivia with Paul. Lots of fun. You need a reservation most Thursdays because trivia is so popular. Will have to ask for side by side seats next time because my trivia partner has trouble with the acoustics. Trivia master Paul uses a mike so most people can hear him.

Great space. Really feels like a British pub. Food was good albeit not very healthy. No veg served with meals! Service and drinks good! Fun night.
