Exec Chef and owner Andrew Dombrowski was born and raised in Central Asia, amongst a melting pot of cultures which houses a multitude of centuries old cuisines- the traditions of which naturally influenced his becoming of a chef.

Andrew loves and is skilled at using the varied herbs and spices hailing from that corner of the world, adding a new depth of flavour into his dishes. The closeness to the culturally rich Korean settlement taught him traditional techniques such as fermentation of products which is widely used in Korea and other countries of East Asia.

Good service and atmosphere. Only thing that let down our dinner was the hasselback potatoes. They were undercooked and not crispy

We visited The Hive on our last night in Bath and OMG I wish we had found it sooner! We would have eaten here for every meal. I had the duck and I can honestly say it was the best meal I think Iv ever had! My partner had stake and if she could have licked the plate clean (without turning heads) she would have. Lovely attentive staff. Beautiful decor and location. I will definitely be booking a river view table for our next visit x

Decent meal overall and good service. Sat right by the stairs which was a tiny bit distracting but not majorly. Shared veg platter was good but side of stuffing wasn’t crispy enough

One of the best meals we have had for quite some time. Couldn't fault it. Food was delicious, service prompt and attentive, lovely atmosphere. Great playlist too. We'll look forward to eating at The Hive again when we are next in Bath.

Was a lovely experience! We went for a Friday night date for our first time in Bath and we're so glad we came in. Such a cute restaurant with delicious food and an incredibly welcoming and fun staff. Would highly recommend!

Our first time dining here. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves as a belated Valentines. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. We’ll definitely be visiting here again.
