The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular.
On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

As always a beautiful Sunday lunch - amazing service - no long waits - runs like clockwork- a great experience from the moment you walk in . Very welcoming and considerate to disabled too

Food was amazing. We had the fillet steak and it was delicious. The cider batter onion rings were to die for. Such an amazing place. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our evening at The Hinds Head in Norton in Hales. The staff were really friendly and the food was great! We were a bit put off post-booking by the insistence on ‘ Business Casual’ dress code as we did not know what this meant and whether our retired folk’s wardrobe could pass muster! But we were very comfortable once we arrived and everyone looked normal! Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely pub .

So refreshing to visit an honest British pub with honest wholesome food cooked well, free of this pre-packed microwave rubbish that many pubs serve up. Instead of a huge choice of mediocre selections, the Hinds head has small menu, but everything on it it cooked to perction.. We have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions and cannot fault it. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, everything… cannot be faulted.

Good choice of food in a lovely village pub.. We enjoyed very tasty lunch food served by friendly staff. Looking forward to a revisit soon, would definitely recommend.

If I could give more stars I would! One of the absolute best meals I have had in the entire UK. The food was incredible. Truly fantastic. The staff were gracious and attentive. Very prompt service and did not rush us through our meal. The recommendations for drinks and meals were spot on. The Gin and Tonic was delicious with Hendricks Gin and Fever Tree elderflower tonic. The Rattler Cider was light, flavorful and refreshing. We started with the salt and pepper fried squid (tender with nice crunch to the breading), we then split a entree salad with mixed greens, walnuts, assorted peppers, onions, goat cheese and grilled peaches with balsamic vinegar drizzled on them. OMG it was sooo good. I had duck breast with 5 spices and stir fried fresh vegetables with bacon crochettes. It was fresh and perfectly cooked with sophisticated spices and every element on the plate worked together. A great dish! My son had the beer battered haddock with chips and mushy peas. It was delicious and he said it was the best he had tasted. We finished with sticky toffee pudding and a cappuccino that was excellent. The restaurant is spacious, upscale but not fussy and spotless. I cancelled our reservations tomorrow at another restaurant because we are going back
