The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular.
On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

I can quite honestly say that this was the best pub meal I have ever had. The pie was a proper pie, the meat fell apart. The pastry thick and just perfect. The service was superb and we are definitely going back as soon as possible.

A good choice of gluten free options on the main menu. As two of our party were Coeliac this was why we chose to go there. One had the basic burger , one had fish and chips, both gluten free options. You can choose between a small or a large portion for both meal options. There were other option that could be had gluten free as well on the menu. The chips were very good and tasty, the batter on the fish was nice and crisp. Only one choice of a gluten free sweet, shame that, but that was an enjoyable sticky toffee pudding. all the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would happily go there again and would not hesitate to recommend this venue.

Really fresh well cooked food and the staff are friendly and efficient. A really great atmosphere and well presented pub in a beautiful village. We go regularly and are never disappointed.
