The Highlight Room’s real showstopper is the spectacular view of the city through a glass wall that spans the entire width of the room and folds back to allow access to the outdoor terrace. From there, guests can lift a cocktail to the expansive views — north to the Empire State Building, south to the Freedom Tower. The north and south sides of the room are lined with two-toned leather and velvet banquettes positioned to take advantage of the cityscape views from floor-to-ceiling windows.

The bar, set off by wooden arches and antique mirrors, complements the greenery, and elaborate, candelabra-style chandeliers allude to the candles that would illuminate the German garden as evening fell. Layers of premium materials — plaster, brass, velvet upholstery, caramel drapery, terrazzo tiles — add a dose of playful luxury. Although the bar is open to the public, the overall sense is of a swank member’s club, a private Eden commanding the sky above the Lower East Side. Must be 21+.

They asked if we are celebrating a bday and then didn't do anything for us and told us to ask the manager instead and then I see someone else celebrating a bday and they had a cake and candle ready, not sure what happened here but ok. Other than their service everything else was pretty good

Very nice ambiance, great service, and beautiful views. The food was 5 stars. The cocktails were good, but very weak. Thus the value of the cocktails wasn’t great. I asked to remove an ingredient out of one of them and was told they were pre-mixed. I would go back, but would drink something else.

Friends and I came for Golden Hour and had the BEST time. Great views and vibes, great service, great food. Drinks are super reasonably priced. For 9 o'clock on a weeknight, the music was a little loud for our taste, but not the end of the world. We'll definitely be back and bring more friends <3

Beautiful place, stunning views! Great music and atmosphere. The drinks was good, the staff were very nice. Highly recommended.

Make sure they only charge you what you ordered and received. Otherwise they will try to charge you more.

I met my friend for their amazing $5 Rose happy hour on a Wednesday and made reservations. We were seated immediately and had a gorgeous view of the rooftop of the city. The service was great and we didn't try any of the food this time but will for sure be coming back again! They only thing that was slightly annoying was that a group of 5 girls tried to fit onto a reserved table of 2 right next to us and were very loud but that is out of the staff's control unless they were to "kick" them off the reserved table for an overall perfect experience.

My first time experience at the highlight room with two of my friends was excellent! I had a great time and would highly recommend checking out this place! The food and drinks were delicious, and the views are insane!! I could see so many views of NYC buildings high up such as the World Trade Center, Empire State Building, Hudson yards, and even my building, One Manhattan square! The best!
