Le The High Field est aménagé dans une maison de ville spacieuse blanche, conçue il y a près d'un siècle par un célèbre architecte local, et rénovée afin de proposer une nouvelle destination en plein coeur du village d'Edgbaston. Face à Simpson, il est doté de deux terrasses afin de profiter du soleil à tout moment, et d'un jardin verdoyant privé caché à l'arrière. Another fantastic meal at my favourite place. ❤️ Love the new menu and specials. Some great and not so common dishes and plenty to choose from. Will be back tomorrow with our neighbours. 😜🥂

The Pork Belly was dry, hard and tastless. The slaw that came with it was weird. The fish of the day, trout came with loads of boiled potatoes which wasn’t anything special and too much.

We took some friends that have not been before because they really fancied a roast dinner. They were very impressed, 2x roast beef and 2x roast pork all delicious. Service was absolutely superb, I didn’t get the waitress name but she was very attentive and good fun. Thank you

Went for my birthday. Superb meal and great staff. I struggled with acoustics because of hard surfaces but this is a minor point. Fully recommend it!

It was extremely busy & very loud because of this. Not that noise is an issue but when how packed it is affects service that’s not great! We waited almost an hour for our main course to come out & were kindly offered a free drink because of this - but then waited almost 30 minutes for this. The staff were lovely & friendly & professional but simply rushed off their feet! Food was lovely though & drinks too. Just a bit disappointed with the waiting times.

Good food - nice place - service ok - would go again - garden is great - menu very varied - wines good - like all restaurants like this - its about the chefs and the front of house service - both were good but could be better imo - no salad dressing on salad no butter offered for bread rolls - some sides not available - portion size small to average - salmon was very salty - which i like but not suitable for everyone - just little touches here and there would improve this place as phenomenal rather than good imo

It was a highly anticipated Sunday Roast that lived up to expectations. Surprising added extra half way through the server comes round with extra Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes. I had the beef and my friend had the chicken....both enjoyed very much. The apple crumble with custard was amazing. I probably shouldn't have ate all of it as it was a hearty portion....but I did! Only negative roasties could have been more crispy and buttery but will definitely be back!
