What an amazing place. From the time we walked in to the time we left, the atmosphere was outstanding. Thank you Albert and staff for an amazing night. Love the food, cocktail and delicious dessert.

We came to The Heritage House for a Father’s day dinner and were quite disappointed. The front of house rudely greeted us, showing no enthusiasm, and didn’t communicate well. We were then pointed to across the restaurant to be shown our table, where the menus were left there and no one said a word. Not even a “happy father’s day”. We waited 40 minutes to be served (there were only 9 tables of people in the restaurant, so not many at all), which we had to ask for table water. Food prices were quite expensive, almost $40 for a pasta dish which was the size of an entre dish. Staff were not enthusiastic or warm. No music in the restaurant. We were quite disappointed.

My friend and I ordered the Barramundi with lobster sauce and Oh My Word!!!! That was the best fish dish I’ve ever had. Good is consistently delicious every time, whether it’s lunch or dinner. Thank you Chef!!!!! 5 Stars.

We were welcomed by a lovely lady at the door who showed us to our table and advised that a waiter would be over shortly. After 20 minutes of trying to get someone’s attention (we were in a corner that was a bit out of the way), another diner noticed that we’re were wanting something and asked a waiter to come over to our table. We weren’t offered water (like other tables were) but we did order some drinks (a beer and soft drink) which came out after about 10 minutes. When they arrived we ordered our entree and main meals. The entree didn’t take too long to come out and was quite tasty. When the waitress came back to clear that plate we ordered another round of drinks. After about 15 minutes a male waiter came and asked if we would like the dessert menu. We advised that we hadn’t had mains yet and were still waiting on a round of drinks. The waitress who took our drink order came back and asked what drinks we wanted. We told her she had already taken our drink order. They arrived a few minutes later. Shortly there after my husbands meal arrive at thick time a different waitress came over and asked how we were enjoying our meals, she went back to check on mine and it arrived a couple of minutes after that. The original waitress who showed us to the table came to clear the plates and asked if we would like the dessert menu which we accepted. She came back a few mins later and took our order and the dessert arrived within a matter of minutes. 15 mins after the dessert we got the bill, paid and left. Couldn’t fault the food. Was quite nice but with the exception of the waitress that showed us to the table and again bought out the desserts the service let them down big time. Just annoying. It’s not a cheap place to eat so I thought that the service would match the price of the food. To be honest I’ve had better service at Maccas.

This place is lovely, it’s been done so beautifully, it feels great as soon as you walk in. Once we were taken to our table though, no one came near us for quite some time. We had to ask for water, then to have our order taken. The food was delicious, the only time we were asked if we wanted another drink was when we were told the bar was closing. It’s such a shame the service wasn’t good, it felt like no one really cared. Heritage House could be great if only there was appropriate training with the staff & maybe more experienced staff.

Excellent food, lovely staff and lively atmosphere make this a great choice for a special lunch or dinner- the Tiramisu was amazing!
