The Hawthorn is a Georgian gem in the heart of Haworth, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.

We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this.

We have a custom-made Josper charcoal grill which is the hottest indoor grill available and used by the best restaurants in the country. Cooking on the Josper ensures none of the natural moisture or flavour escapes from the food, whilst at the same time adding the distinct chargrilled taste.

We saw The Hawthorn on Instagram and thought we'd give it a go. We were so impressed with the food (Sunday dinner) and service, we will definitely be visiting again ☺️

The food was marvellous - my very fussy sister complimented her steak! I asked for the recipe for the gazpacho I was so impressed 😊 We went with my elderly father and the staff worked really hard to be sure he was comfortable - moving us away from the speakers, speaking to him clearly and checking he was okay with his food and comfort without patronising or talking over him. Very impressed

Wonderful location , Lovely friendly staff who were very welcoming. The food was excellent, beautiful cooked and presented . The cocktails were divine . Would highly recommend . We will definitely be returning. 🥰

The restaurant has a warmth about it and the staff are very attentive. We had Sunday lunch and it was faultless. The tastiest food we’ve had for a whole. The meat was cooked well and extremely tasty, the potatoes and vegetables absolutely delicious accompaniments to the meal. I would go back again and again. Such good value for money .
