No pub experience is complete without a fine drink in your hand. Our drinks menu features a wide variety of tipples to suit all tastes.

Choose from our locally brewed beers and ales, exquisite wines handpicked by Rob and his team, or classic cocktails with an innovative twist. Beer enthusiasts might want to try our rotating selection of craft and cask ales from breweries in the area.

The Hare & Hounds is a stunning early/mid 18th century building that has a wealth of character that's recently gone through a much needed decorative refurbishment. The small but beautiful building itself is perfect for 50-75 guests, but include our great size gardens and we can easily accommodate up to 150 people. Private events are very welcome.

We had a really lovely time at this Pub for Sunday lunch for Father’s Day. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The staff were friendly especially the owner who even noticed my husband ran out of gravy. Food was fresh and the nut roast was amazing. Biscotti cheesecake was delicious.

Started with a phone call to see if we wanted to sit watching the Euro football or be round the corner out of the way. Exceptional service. First class service. Very tasty food and at a very reasonable price. We will return.

We received a very warm and friendly welcome from the owner and staff. Service was quick and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Tried the new lunch menu, food was delicious and will definitely be going again and trying full menu and a Sunday roast.

Don’t judge a book by the cover. Upon entering you could be concerned if the decor and seating arrangements reflect the service and food… Thankfully that is not the case. We received fantastic service, amazing food with a friendly and attentive owner. Thanks for a great Sunday lunch

Lovely light batter on the fish and chips, good portions, tasty vegetable tart. Really nice crumble and custard. An easy local spot.
