Love love love the food, always super amazing. We get that it was a Sunday night but for how empty the restaurant was service was spotty. Also seemed a little dark inside. We will be back though one of our favorite stops in Chicago.

The site manager/head miatred was awesome. He was in total control of the restaurant and seated my party at a fantastic table. The waiter was OK and attentive.

Overall it was a good experience! One of the featured drinks was out of stock. Food was lukewarm. Managers were attentive. Would be my second choice for brunch if I had to do it all over again.

Our server was not very approachable / tentative. One of our persons works within the industry and asked our server if there was any kind of perk or benefit offered. Our server had a blank look for a moment and uninterestingly asked to look at our guest’s employee credentials for proof and says “thanks”. But after that, went MIA. He did not check on us once after our order was taken. The food runner was even nicer than him. He did not come back to refill our waters, and only came by at the end to ask if we needed anything else before the bill ( no compensation - which is 100% fine, however what was the point of “asking” for our credentials if nothing was addressed / applied towards the bill). After we paid our nearly $200 bill, we decided to go upstairs to the bathroom before leaving the restaurant and despite having to take an elevator up to use it, we saw a staircase we thought we could walk down to leave. Before even taking a step off the top of the staircase, an employee from what looked like the kitchen came out very RUDELY at us saying, “HEY HEY WHERE DO U THINK YOU’RE GOING, HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING, NO. YOU GO THAT WAY AND GO RIGHT OR LEFT”. It felt like he was yelling at us like dogs. There are much nicer ways to speak customers in telling them not to use the stairs. We did not ask for his name as he was so upset that we ALMOST took a step… not even down on the stairs yet. The uppity vibes of the service is nowhere near recommending. Please advise the staff to do better and be kind to the guests who are kind in return.

Shrimp Caesar salad was over dressed. Very loud as we could not sit outside due to a private party.

The best shrimp tacos, they had the perfect amount of spice and flavor! Also, I loved the beet salad and the 4 cheese pizza!

Service was horrible by our waitress. No apology for putting in the wrong order even if she misheard me. However the managers on duty (Tall guy with black suit and ponytail as well as the gentleman with a blue blazer on and salt & pepper beard) did their best to recover our experience and were great. Food was mediocre. Will not return.
