3% surcharge was unexpected and a sneaky way for the restaurant to raise prices. Probably not go back.

I ordered the lobster roll and the bun was over saturated with melted butter. I will return if I’m back in the area but this meal was disappointing.

The food, service and decor at Hampton Social are fantastic. They often have live music which is great but the night we dined the performer had the sound turned up so loud I couldn’t hear what my friend was saying right next to me. We had the Tuna tartar, lobster roll, fish tacos and blueberry bread pudding - all delicious! Only reason for four stars over five was the sound level

Extremely disappointed that they ran out of oysters as that was why we booked. Food we did order was excellent albeit $$$ We were able to sit in a booth vs the high top tables. Extremely loud and noisy so hard to talk. Young trendy crowd.

Came for their Oyster Day on 8/5 for dinner at 6:30 pm. was told they had run out, very understandable. Asked for a core appetiser, their shrimp and crab bruschetta, again, they were out. This one not very understandable. All the other food we ordered was good but a bit overpriced for what was brought out compared to other restaurants of the same standard. Service was a bit lacking, some drinks ordered were not brought the first time and some refills did not come even when asked for. This is my second visit to this location and the first time I had a good time, I did not expect the issues I had this time around.
