Mark, Chloe and their friendly young team welcome you to The Hampshire Bowman in Dundridge, a traditional country free-house serving real ales, real ciders and real food all year round.

We’re dog friendly and mobile phone unfriendly. The Hampshire Bowman is a great unspoilt country pub with a huge garden. Real ale and traditional cider are our specialty – we’ve been in the CAMRA good beer guide for over 30 years!

PLEASE NOTE - We don't take bookings for our HUGE garden, please just turn up if you want to sit outside!

Great pub in lovely setting. Nice big well kept garden with swings, great food. If you don’t like dogs maybe try something else. But there was a whole pack when we went and they were all well behaved. My kids were running around the garden with them for ages. Really enjoyed it, we’ll be going back. 👍

The Hampshire Bowman is the perfect example of an English country pub. The pub itself is beautiful, and has a sprawling well maintained garden. To top it all the food was beautiful (and always is). Try to pub. If its not a sunny day, then make sure you book a table if you are going to eat.

We were a group of 16 and were all seated together despite me saying I understood if we had to be split up. Wait for food was about 90mins but we were informed that on ordering. We could not fault the food, portion size or the staff. We had a wonderful afternoon and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

We love e the Bowman and usually go there on a Friday for dinner. We love the people and the service is really good.

We had lunch on a very busy, sunny Saturday. The staff were efficient, polite and friendly despite the pressure. Food was delicious.

Absolutely lovely , the ambience, food and service was excellent, we sat in the garden for a drink which was really nice lots for my grandson to play with and then we ate inside which was comfortable and food delicious, we will definitely return there was eight in our party and we all would definitely be returning Thank you
